Jesus, I'm genuinely surprised at how much cowtipping and poo-touching was behind Hax's eventual suicide. I mean this without any hint of irony: I hope none of the people involved see a moment of peace for the rest of their lives.

Itemhog in particular should never be able to show his face at any Smash or pro-gaming event ever for spending months or years of his life planning 24hr gay ops against Hax$, then pretending he had no responsibility when shit hit the fan. It's one thing when it's random anonymous internet users mocking the original video on a forum or subreddit, it's another thing when it's Hax$'s supposedly close, long-time friends deliberately trying to worsen the guy's condition directly.

It says a lot about the Smash community that even amongst Hax's supposed "friends" in Melee, mourning him in person at his funeral, there are piles upon piles of snakes who spent every waking hour of his life right up until his passing trying to mentally break him, even AFTER the guy got his leg amputated from a failed suicide attempt. Trying to milk content out of Hax at his lowest, when he literally cannot walk on his own two feet is genuine sociopathic behavior.

  • Leffen is a crybully grudge-holding faggot who legitimately wronged Hax in the past (no one disputes this) (except Leffen, lol).
  • Hax's mental illness eventually led him to make a very flawed video against Leffen (even if it did make some good points about the inordinate amount of influence Leffen had in Smash).
  • The community TOs, who were all terrified of pissing off Leffen, overreacted to Hax's video by permabanning him with little to no hope for appeal.
  • Leffen, continuing his grudge with Hax and employing his tried and true crybully faggot tactics (which everyone here knows can easily one-shot any community run by trannies and "empathy"-minded leftists), makes a big, fake show about being scared for his life anytime Hax isn't treated as if he's subhuman.
  • This leads the faggot dumbfuck TOs to include a "no criticizing Leffen ever" stipulation in the eventual conditional unban """olive branch""" they give to Hax (even if criticizing Leffen is something reasonable to do!)
  • Itemhog's buddy-troll Discord group manipulate and convince Hax to continue making (objectively reasonable and apologetic!!!) videos about the situation.
  • The TOs' interpret these videos (that Hax was manipulated into making by a malicious third-party) as Hax criticizing Leffen, thereby violating their "no criticizing Leffen ever" clause, and use this as justification to keep him banned.
  • No one with any power in the community did anything to address this unhinged series of events - not even after Hax survived his first suicide attempt! - because they're all terrified of going against the popular opinion, lest they be labeled a far-right christofascist authoritarian groyperpilled nazichud like the evil T*chn*c*ls.
  • Hax successfully kills himself, and everyone suddenly decides they cared about him the whole time.
What a genuine fucking tragedy this all was.

I'm still listening to the video, the IBDW mom thing was a lie? I remember when he put it out during the #SmashMeToo movement and thinking "why would you ever admit any of this?" If the story's fake, that gives me my answer.

He got mad at Hax$ for outing the fact that he lied about the story on Discord, which then forced IBDW to come out and confess to lying about it on Twitter in a self-righteous fury, trying to spin it as Hax$ telling people to not "believe victims" (because Hax$ called out IBDW's gross sexual fantasy about having his own mother ride him).

You'll hear it in the video when you get to it, but the gist is that Cody told Hax that he (14) and his mother (40) fucked (and how moist her pussy was) and Hax later found out that Cody had lied about the sex. Apparently, it turned out they only kissed.

Ultimate was supposed to be the Melee-killer. And Sm4sh. And Brawl. And even Project M, on some sense. For better or worse the Melee scene isn't gonna die anytime soon - it's like a roach that outlives 95% of fighting games. If anything the only thing that COULD kill it would be a severe balkanization of it's fanbase from the inside...although, if it were to happen, Hax's death might be the powderkeg that kicks it off.

I was gonna do a point by point write up, but it took me live an hour to do 25 minutes of video so I'll just give my thoughts on various parts
  • Shout to Null for the voice clip usage in the intro from the MATI episode for March 28, 2025
  • As has been shown before, TOs and other people using the fact that Hax apologized to Leffen various times as way to say that Hax was continuing his harassment of Leffen was and still is fucking retarded
    • Leffen has always been a faggot with all bark and no bite. Some fucking guy on the Internet tells him, "you're gonna get it, bucko" and somehow the whole fucking community has to stop and appease this cunt who doesn't even play the game anymore
  • Willy P apparently trooned out, so good luck to that guy and all his future endeavors
  • The argument that Hax was a hyper-autist that cared too much about Melee is probably true, but he also did dedicate a large portion of his life to the game and worked hard to keep playing it. As pathetic as some may see this, I don't think that lifetime ban was necessary even if he did say that Leffen was Hitler
  • Cody "20K" Schwab is slimy cunt
    • 20000 mentions about how he offered Hax 20K to pay his bills as long as he went to therapy and this would help get him unbanned
    • Lied about having sex with his mom to try and get some pity then turns around and says that he lied but it wasn't to get pity
    • Talked about how going public would been more detrimental but let slip that what he was actually worried about was get kick backed from supporting Hax

  • I like the call out about people trying to inject their politics into the scene. Especially just trying to label everyone that agrees or watches Tech as right wing. While I'm sure some of these may have college educations, I don't really give a shit what people that play a Nintendo party game have to about Israel-Palestine, Kyle Rittenhouse, or fucking Ukraine.
  • Tommy C's input on the whole situation was retarded and he should go have a drink with my good friend, Nick Rekieta
  • I think the biggest bombshell in the video was ItemHog, Orez, and his little Discord group heavily fucking Hax.
    • They basically shit talked him to his face after Hax jumped in front of a train
      • Change their name to Amputee when talking to Hax
      • Used the tag "Train 1 - Hax 0" on Slippi
      • Trying to get people to raid Hax's stream and say, "break a leg"
    • Created this whole psyop where they try to convince Hax that they were only fucking with him because Leffen paid them to
    • Itemhog showing up the funeral was some psychopathic shit
    • Them taking Hax bothering them about the ban and deciding to troll him instead of stepping away was also a dick move

Overall, I think the video was good and covered many facets of how this happened. I do think that Hax was hyper autistic about the game and while I have nothing in my life that I feel that strongly about, I partially see where his mind was. Very few people wanted to properly back Hax, especially in the public eye, so the many of the people that came out with condolences when he died, they just showed how much of disingenuous faggots they really are. I love how no one wants to admit what the problem was and would rather blame everyone else, it was the therapist, it was the right wing grifters, it was Technicals. Yet no one wants to admit that Smash Community has zero accountability for its community leaders but they're allowed to wield power at their discretion. No one wants to admit that it wasn't that serious and that Hax had done enough by apologizing to Leffen, disavowing people that were "threatening" Leffen, and asking for forgiveness. If the whole of the Smash community and their leaders were to be believed, Hax was on the verge head shooting Leffen the next time he saw him and would beat the shit out of the next person who world a red Adidas shirt.

i am surprised that leffen wasn't mentioned much in the video, probably because there were people more heinous and vile than him for once in his life and the attention should have gone to them, deservedly. but i will still remind others that we should still hold leffen accountable (his words, not mine).
