You know, ADF's dystopian Latin American hellhole of a country is kind of endearing. Not to the extent of CWCville, but it's so hilariously stupid that I kind of want some fan works set in it.
You'd probably have to tweak it a but just so it's actually coherent, such as placing it on the west coast so it actually has a reason to be a Spanish speaking country. Thinking that it used the Mexican American war to break away from Mexico and become an independent nation. Makes more sense than Phil's backstory.

I'm guessing that by now, cars may be restricted in Phil-land - similar to how they were in the PRC in the past - so just like in China back in the day, everyone more or less only gets around by bike, despite a road infrastructure being present.

Anyway, in a recent FB by Phil, he claims that Australatina has a population of 114 million. If Australatina were real, the population density would be roughly like that of Japan, but unlike Japan, the Australatinan people would be living in a commie craphole. Imagine the crime rate Autralatina would have.

Autism's a hell of a drug. It compelled Phil to go into insane detail on how his dumb country's roads work as well as their signs and history, but he couldn't be arsed to say that Shitholistan's export is street signs or something then.

Yeah, I think we know the answer to that.

Also, not only would there be starvation and unemployment, but Australatina borders on the USA and Canada in the headcanon. If it were real, and being a commie landphil, the USA and Canada would've at least blockaded the borders and the coasts at least during the Cold War (to cut off support from the USSR, for example). Meaning that it'd be even more of a starving, impoverished commie craphole. If it existed, it probably wouldn't exist long in its' communist form given its' proximity to the USA.

Also, apparently the area of Australatina is bigger than I thought, but it'd still be a relatively high population density if it existed.

For being a 30 year old man(child), Phil doesn't really know much about history, geography, or politics, despite having a map and road obsession. (edit: kind of ninja'd there)

Nahh, it wouldn't be through a nuke. It'd be another Korea. Only a highly successful one since we'd have a border and homefront that'd help stamp down civilian dissatisfaction. That and the Soviets and Chinese couldn't easily ship equipment to Shitholistan based on current borders.

Yep. He never learned the first rule in economics: You have an infinite amount of wants, but only a limited amount of resources.
