Apparently the Australatinian state occupies the entire US Eastern Seaboard up to Canada.
I find it interesting how word-building appears to be something lolcows enjoy doing, but it seems like they really can't come up with exotic worlds (like the galaxy of Star Wars or Middle Earth of Lord of the Rings, for example). The mind of a lolcow doesn't wander far from home, apparently.

For example, Iconoclast set Belch Dimension in a fictional part of contemporary Missouri - he lives around there IRL. Other stories he came up seem to always involve his termination from the Herald (a college newspaper) in some way.

CWC lives in VA, so guess where CWCville is supposed to be.*

I don't know if A-Log was into world-building, but apparently the stories he wrote were set in modern NYC.

And now we have ADF, who made up a small fictional country somehow occupying the same spot where Phil used to live IRL.

*(CWC did make up "RuleCWC," but it's more of an afterthought imitation of Hyrule from the Zelda series, with not much thought put into it)

Unlike Christal I think maybe Phil actually lives in this, if nothing else detailed world he has created. I can't help but think he has some kind of coping mechanism for his life. Being homeless sucks, I mean sure he has his guvment check but he blows it on Hep C tats. I wonder if that tent under the bridge is his rebel camp. Phil's life would make a good movie I think. Like a tranny/wrongskin version of the Secret Life of Walter Mitty!

If someone has a decent computer, they should try recreating the country in a city-building game like Cities Skylines to see how it would function.

As somebody who spent nearly nine years in a political roleplaying game, I do (grudgingly) admire the detail ADF has gone into when building his nation. It's a shame a lot of the detail is useless for roleplay and the execution is horrible.

I think it's a coping mechanisim, they like building a word they can understand and have some modicum of control over because in the real world they don't understand how it works and they don't know how the rules (or people) work, as for why it's of a limited scope when it comes to creativity it's because he lacks the mental processes to be that creative but as I said before it's a way to work out where they fit in the world and to try and express some of there frustration of living in a place they can't quite understand so it's not about creativity.

What is interesting is that in the cases of Chris and Phil the size of there fantasy world reflects how well they function and how big there ego's are, To Chris the world is kinda small his whole existence is within a short distance of his home in the small town he is in so he has made his fantasy world reflect that, he is in charge because of his Ego and wanting to be the hero but ADF is marginally more functional than Chris (in some respects at least) so his world is larger but his ego is massively larger than OPL's so he made his C-Ville a whole country.

In short, they are both intellectually and emotionally stunted individuals who use there art as a way of working out who and what they are but inflated with the size of there ego's.

Note that the car is registered in San Felipe, better known as the Yaoi District.

For someone obsessed with Latin America, it seems odd their choice of reg plates are based on an older French design with the older German emissions and safety inspection stickers.

... I'm embarrassed I know that.

I believe that in the history Phil made up for Australatina, it was taken over by communists at one point. Given how much Phil knows of politics, I wouldn't be surprised if Australatina is a totalitarian hellhole.

It's like cwcville, but with knowledge of it being a communist state (maybe not the totalitarian part) I think I like this more than cwcville because it's more developed, and therefore more autistic.

I'm unsure why there is an expected drop in population in 2044 as almost 60% of people are under 30 & the birth rate and immigration rates are higher than the death & emigration rates.

The Eastern Seaboard is surprisingly rectangular here. The names of the surrounding states are unclear because the image resolution is too small - I can discern Silesia (?) and Nueva Grecia (?).

Also, Australatina is a bad sounding name for a state - it can be easily mistaken for Astrolatina. It sounds like Scarlatina as well.

EDIT: Astrolatinian administrative and transport maps, or something.

It's probably been mentioned before but the north western portion of Australatina is "occupied" territory called the Cisacadia Whites Bank. I think this is where his Israeli fascination is best shown given that Cisacadia Whites Bank is clearly meant to be the West Bank (ie Palestine) and Phil's forces are happily oppressing it. I'm not sure if Cisacadia is one of Phil's early references to hating Cis people or not.

*Disclaimer that I could have completely misread Phil's abortion of a map

I'm guessing that Australatina has the equivelant of C-quarters and W-quarters. I'm also guessing that there's a national anthem that Phil made up.

Also, what role does Phil's inevitable self-insert play in that land? I'd be surprised if it was any role other than in the government or some central revolutionary figure.

IIRC, his self-insert was a mid- or upper mid-level military official. It certainly fits in with his desire to be a sort of cog in an authoritarian machine. Regardless, I remember for certain that he wasn't in charge.

I wonder if like how Magi-Chan would hunt down da homos in CWCville, there is like an anti-Het force that preys on straights? I would imagine that they go around capturing straights, put them in gender reeducation camps and then use Phil's blood to give them Hep-C.

From looking at the military bases map, it becomes clear that Phil, despite being a map sperg, does not know actual military map symbols such as the APP-6A standard set.
