I think I've mentioned it elsewhere but this was the unsub moment for me. I was only watching Game Grumps cause of Dan (got sucked into his nice guy act) at this point but Arin was just being too much of a cunt for me to continue.
 
So I played some Soviet Jump Game. I wanted to make a vid but there wasn't enough footage because I was only playing with two others. I'll try again later, hopefully there'll be more people then.

Some notes:
- I like the art and music. Also, you can turn the glitch effects off, thank god.
- The game has a shitload of screen-tearing even though I turned on V-Sync. Dunno what's up with that.
- The menus are incredibly unintuitive. Somehow it never feels clear what pressing a certain direction will highlight. GG no re.
- The controls, dear god. These are not controls for precision based platforming. Even just trying to jump unto a pipe that's two blocks wide feels like a crapshoot.
- The hitboxes are weird. You don't just touch a coin or powerup and get them, you have to touch their center. It's unlike any platformer I've played.
