Not if designed well. A simple "pass a perception check or die" trap is pretty gay. It doesn't actually engage the player or require any thinking, and the game will devolve into the players announcing "I search for traps" and rolling. Clues to the presence of traps should be in the DM's description of the environment, and finding them should require some amount of cleverness from the players.

A lot of gays have well developed traps because gays care more about their superficial appearance and a lot of them work out, and are more likely to do accessory work like shrugs, but they're also a functional muscle and by sheer numbers there are way more straight men with developed traps than gays.
