Here former SPLC journo Michael Hayden writes how the SPLC purged its "intelligence people" like him and his friends (those who obsess over the "fascists") for basically being Antifa and deep throating Palestine. So the SPLC allegedly fired them all for supporting Palestine. He complains in his substack how the SPLC stopped focusing on the nazis as the biggest evil in the world and wants to focus more on general civil rights legal stuff instead.

They have been around for a long time (almost a hundred years) and they will never be dead.

For now, their work is done so they will go mostly dormant, only doing small vandalisms and such, indistinguishable from just bored teenagers.
But they will be around, waiting, until next time they need to brought out in force 10 years from now.

They flare up, attract the rebellious young with slogans, and cause mayhem, then 5-10 years later they flame out because the young rebels have found new causes (or gotten married and having children) so the core goes dormant and becomes forgotten.

I remember stupid Antifa shit they did in the mid/late 70s.
Once they reached the stage where they just put up posters (before social media) for where to meet and to fight the cops (who also read/saw these posters) it is not long until everyone just loses interests and the "revolution" kind of dies off.
