Delicious in Dungeon Season 2 releasing October of 2027

The first episode of the circus anime is a 9/10. Good plot hook and funny without being too saccharine/dark. Would have watched the second episode if the torrent hosting site didn't fuck up and put a different show as the file.

But the first episode of the Nanoha show is dogshit, 40 minutes for a basic bitch backstory that doesn't even seem to affect the main heroine in any way. She is the exact same in the beginning and the end despite the trauma, and there isn't even a plot hook to save her sister or survivor's guilt.

She can obviously understand human sexuality, since she tried to give Fern the potion that removes clothes so Fern can give Stark a "Gift" for his birthday. But that's a version of Frieren who saw one of her best friends die and has made an effort to learn more about humans overall.
You can also make the argument that Frieren didn't fully understand what she was actually implying and was just parroting what Flame told her ages ago. Frieren has genuine issues with emotional expression and understanding, all the elves that we see in the series seem to.
Someone in a discord I'm in said it best, basically saying that since she's an elf she kind of views a lot of things humans find embarrassing with a bit of detachment or in a "that's dumb" kind of way. Kind of like how a parent would see a kid do something and think "aw isn't that silly or cute."
I think it just comes from living so long. An elf doesn't need to fight things or resist things, all an elf really needs to do is endure something. Give it a century or two, they'll go away without you needing to do much. Sort of like a centuries old "nothing ever happens" chud who's so disaffected by the world that they never really do much of anything about much of anything because they're confident in their ability to still be around when all's said and done.
Marcille > Frieren
Ironically the guy who likes the show about cooking has bad taste.

Nanoha is still around? I thought Vivid Strike killed that IP.

Marcille > Frieren
Can't really compare them, they are not even the same race or dynamic. Frieren is the mentor elf woman child, and nearly omnipotent with regrets about her past. while Marcille is the straight girl, is incredibly under leveled and has fears about her future.

If anything it's surprising how opposite they are in every way.

Ostatnio edytowane:
Why don't they just wait for the manga to catch up instead of using filler?
Only time I want this to be the case is Highschool of the Dead. We aren't getting the final episode, not that it matters because it supposedly resolved nothing, and will never be continued as the author died.

Finished Reincarnation Coliseum vol 1.
Basic plot. Guy gets isekaied and because he has the weakest skill (skill copy) he gets thrown in the slave coliseum. However, he's actually The Spiffing Brit and exploits the mechanics to win.

It wasn't what I expected. But I liked it. I can go into details if people want, but my main concern going forward is that the book is clearly intended to be 5 volumes but supposedly it's at volume 7 and still going?
