Not true. I do think they would encourage her to show her legs, though. And she'd get mad about not having control over what they choose to air. I don't think she'll go on the show unless the YouTube $$ stops rolling in. She says she's not concerned about money, but that's not true. She can't work an actual job unless it's something she can do from her bed. She can't even get another
Wasn't there someone on My 600-Lb. Life who couldn't drive and couldn't get anyone to move to Houston with them? I think that person was driven to Houston, dropped off at an apartment, and the driver went back home. The fatty was all alone to fend for themself.
Anyway, I can see that happening to Amber. The only time Becky stands up to Amber is when the topic of moving comes up.

I don't remember any episode in the 7 seasons so far with someone who kept the whole body cover all the time and didn't show their struggles, the nudity and humiliation they endure is what attract the views.
Hamber isn't that special fat snowflake to be the only one without it, she may have 100k that know her on Youtube, but her episode would flop with the regular public of the show, no one want to see a "healthy big girl" who "doesn't" need any help of anybody, has no struggles, is living her best life and just want a free surgery to look "hot"....

Amber Rachdi spilled the beans on that. What they do is not require you to be nude in a shower per se but they will push and push for it, say they can postpone surgery when they really cannot, that sort of thing. So Amber was seen in her briefs and sportsbra hosing down.
The episode would probably not flop either. The best watched ones are the ones with the most delusional piggies in it. Penny, James K., Lisa, etc. Just imagine a 600elbee beachball insist she is a dainty 550 and that the calibrated scale at Now's bariatric clinic is broken, insisting she is a dainty small uwu flower as she stomps around Houston angry there are no more scootypuffs at Wommart. Buying hulthy foode to make taco soup slop. Just wanting the free surgery is something they would all see through quickly, and Amber will learn the hard way.
Sadly it will never be.

So just because this season everyone took the $ that means the requirements for the show have suddenly changed? And do you really think that if Amber manages to keep her clothes on she'll be able to fool everyone that she's healthy, just big?

Is she saying she was contacted, but she didn't know whether it was real or not, so she turned it down? That doesn't make sense. That's like getting an email from someone claiming you can make $10,000 in just 1 hour of work, it only takes a $1000 investment. You're not going to read that and start replying, 'Thank you for contacting me, but I'm going to have to politely decline participating in this money-making opportunity...', No, you just delete it and move on. She wouldn't have replied unless she DID think it was real. Why not just admit to turning them down, because she simply didn't want to do it.

Her original story was that she declined because she didn't want to be on the show. She changed her mind just a few months after that. She was asked why not contact the casting person she spoke to originally, but she hasn't bothered replying to that. Now someone asked her if that email was fake or not and she says she doesn't know, nor does she know if the person who contacted her last year was legit.

We all know her weight has been steadily going up. Personally, I truly believe she has made it past 600 lbs. If Becky has a breaking point, and Amber no longer has a girlfriend to keep her in check with going on that show, I think she would do it.
Money would also have to be getting scarce for her to want to do it, too. Eventually, her act is going to bore everyone enough that her views will eventually plummet. She's going to need to do something to get some money.

It's probably best to remember that this chick is genuinely dumb, and getting worse as she gets fatter. She makes dumb choices like possibly replying to what she thinks is a scam or not attempting to find out if it's legit, and she is incapable of remembering what she's said or lied about. That's why she ignores so many questions or, when she does respond, she leans REALLY hard on being a pedantic twat. Anyone who would put two wildly different coming out stories on the internet and acts as though the first story was never shared (because she forgot about it) can only be trusted to act like a moron.

Please God, let her new weight-loss psychiatrist be a HAES advocate. Preferably one who tells her not to worry about dieting and health. I want one who tells Amberlynn to just embrace her fatness and eat whatever she wants (while she works on her mental). I figure she could possibly hit the big 700 if she takes their advice to heart.

From what I understand, there is a psychiatrist which oversees or works with psychologists, and it is they who write the scrips based on the assessment from the psychologist. @pecansandies might know if he can pipe in.

Psychologists, depending on where you are (as some places in USA & Can don't require it) have a PhD, but can't prescribe medication. There is a lot of overlap in both professions (including their education). So it's not unheard of for a psychiatrist to also offer psychologist services, but generally a patient will work in tandem with the two, finding the best cocktail of meds (if needed) and tailoring the right kind of therapy.
Then you have psychotherapists who have a masters degree, and even social workers usually have a fair amount of training in this field.
Psychiatrists do not always oversee psychologists' work, but it's not unheard of. It's usually the patient at the center and all 3 working together. Which sounds idealistic but it's just my understanding. You've just kinda made it sound like psychiatrists are the project manager or something and that's just really not the case.
edit: that last sentence sounds real bitchy but I promise it isn't. Also remember I have ZERO credentials. I study this in school and have personal experience with it and a little volunteer experience (all supervised) So I just don't want people thinking I'm some kind of authority on stuff like this. Flattered you wanted me to add to the conversation and all but yeah I don't want anyone thinking I'm like PsychMaster2000 or something lmao or ESPECIALLY that I think that about myself. I'm just an asshole with a decent GPA and accruing a LOT of student debt. That's it.
