None of them understand that. Shit dude, not even the cops seem to understand it sometimes ('member the Afroman case, where the dumbass cops broke into his house and disabled all the cameras (or so they thought ... they missed one on a separate power and network loop, whoops), not realizing they were uploading footage to a remote server live? Good times ... he won when he sued the fuckers too, btw).Dumb fat nigger doesn't understand that the video is downloaded into a network and destroying the camera does nothing but gets him a charge of destroying property.
It's hilarious and one of the best things about having networked cameras. Criminality really does seem to have a comorbidity with mental retardation too. It's as if the urge to "do wrong" makes a person stupid.
I've had fun with HOAs trying to pull illegal shit and they do the same thing. The typical HOA faggot's favorite "trick" is to inspect target addresses for violations, and they feel entitled to walk onto the property to do it (when even the most HOA-friendly states say "nah you can't actually trespass to conduct your fifth-layer-of-government inspections, lads"). They know they're in the wrong, because without fail the first thing they try is to disable any visible cameras. So whatcha do is put out a battery-powered (Wyze are great for this) one right at eye-level on a front yard tree or something, super-conspicuous, and without fail if the HOA targets you, you'll get the dual treat of a notification of a flat (or missing) battery along with crystal-clear footage of the useless asshole walking up to (and fucking with) the camera.
So when you then post the footage publicly of the HOA goon tampering with your private property (after walking onto your private property to do it) along with a copy of the trespass notice you've issued against them, they get reeeeeeaaaaallllllly fucking angry and defensive, and no end of bootlickers emerge to tell you how naughty you are for defending your own property. The HOA also quietly moves on to more susceptible targets. Then you get to remind people what their property rights are (namely, yes, you really can arbitrarily order specific individuals not to enter, and you really can prosecute them for doing it after you've told them not to).
There's just something about "being a criminal or a karen" that makes people forget that cameras can, like, talk to stuff and aren't just decorations or easily-defeated by disconnection.
Yes, the missing battery was returned overnight by a different HOA cunt. A different camera caught that, and I posted that footage too, thanking them for returning the stolen property. God damn that was a fun week.
ETA:
fucking lol ... cops are fucking uselessand a cop was there assisting but then he went under and had to be rescued.
