He claims it's 40 acres, with a 400 foot main shaft and a few laterals. Doesn't make much difference, really.
He also claims that the owner is going to be providing him with evidence of everything today. I'm a cynical bitch so even if someone provided me with apparent evidence, I'd be contacting the independent people who have allegedly verified everything.

Check down in Essex, that's where the mine is supposedly. Not in Rough and Ready like the company name would have you believe.

You check the name of the owners have on the claim. So if it's Jakes it'll be under his name. Unless its a claim he works at and doesn't have his name listed. People like this don't buy larger claims though as they just can't afford it. If it was the 147 acre claim I found while looking for theirs I'd believe they're pulling out a million a year.

Tom says that Goldco is the parent of Rough and Ready. He claims that Bill is a metallurgist (and that the reason it's hard to find information on these people without a security clearance is because of who buys their metal - lol).

It's got nothing, really. The few hits I got for it are to things like yelp or IBT and there's no actual info beyond the address and I think one had a phone number.

Okay I took a look at those mines in Essex owned by Bill Lewelling.
They all are 35 years old and used up. And zero acres? That can't be right.
The website had a fancy map where you could see where the mines are!
Would you take a look at that! Looks like they're all at the intersection of Skeleton Pass Rd and Danby Rd. Wonder if I can look that up on Google Maps and get a satellite image...

With the depth of the shaft there was a probably a mine elevator and some kind of rail system, all of that is clearly fucked. Is Tom planning on carrying hand dug buckets of gravel up a 400ft ladder or what?
