7 Days to Die is pretty damn fun. had to uninstall it (and everything) though so im probably gonna wait until a.17 before reinstalling

It went from "awful" to "Meh-ish"
I gotta play the game usually looking down or up to make the frames go faster.
With that said tho, the game is legit entertaining and hooking for the most part, blowing up the head of zombies with your club is very satisfying. If the frame rate is at least improved next updates, I might actually consider it really good (for now, its just alright, not awful but the frame rate is the killer to me and Im not even picky about FPS, as long it keeps it around 30, Im okay)
 
I used to play, had some fun runs before one of the major updates within the last few years. Rifle headshot build is based.
 
Friend got me to try this over the last month. Kinda fun, but it's stupidly easy when you realize just how powerful electric fences are.

Snufkins mod is worth getting if you havent got it already. It adds around 12 unique boss zombies that can spawn during blood moons
 
Necroing this thread, cause devs just announced they're resetting course and releasing the game as 1.0 in June 2024. They made a new roadmap of content which will be done post 1.0 release, and are increasing the game price to 45 freedom bucks. This 1.0 release is to coincide with the new console release. Console users will have to buy the game again at a possible discounted rate. Seems to be a huge mixture of emotions to this announcement. Comments are already disabled on YouTube.

I won't believe a single one of these features exists until it's actually in the game. They've been promising bandits and shit for years and haven't made basically any progress other than some unused assets sitting around. The fact that they're adding things like Twitch drops before bandits really says it all. I can sort of understand the console relaunch due to whatever legal bullshit they had to go through from having to regain control of publishing their own game on console (if I'm remembering right), but even if you're doing a 50% discount, you're still asking customers who bought on one platform to pay for updates that other platforms have for free.
 
You know this game has been in Alpha for 11 years at this point it's about time they attempt to release its in a good state atm.
 
I love this game and have almost 3000 hours in it. I have been playing since Alpha 15 and it's nice to see how far the game has come. Also love how customizable the game is with modlets, and all the different overhauls produced by the community like War of the Walkers and Darkness Falls
 
I'll never truly understand this business model of alpha/beta for 7-15 fucking YEARS, then on a whim the developers decide to "release" the game as a 1.0. Maybe it'll be a revenue boost? Either way, I guess it's better than releasing your 1.0 filled with bugs and as much interesting content as a wet carrot. Your boring game has the excuse of being boring as long as you want because "it's alpha/beta, bro".

Side note I've got hundreds of hours in 7DTD exclusively digging ant tunnels on PVP servers so a big refresh of the game is welcome.
