I think at this point, lying is almost an addiction for him. He tells a lie, then he gets a little psychological high from the sense of triumph and the belief that he has become a little bit cooler. Then it wears off, and he's still the same guy he always was, so he has to invent another. I'd feel sorry for him if he wasn't such a total asshole.

Let's say for the sake of argument that Phil were magically granted his wish and he had SRS and a boob job. It wouldn't change a damn thing. Once the glow of the "I got tiddies and vagoo" wore off, he would go back to being just as miserable as before. He would still be the same selfish, egotistical, whiny, obnoxious asshole. It wouldn't bring him friends, love, money, mental health, or anything else important. In fact, I'm willing to bet fully transitioning would make things WORSE for Phil because he would still be alone and miserable. He would then realize that SRS isn't going to fix him and all the problems in his life from his lack of money to his loneliness is all his fault.

So what's he going to do with his youcaring page once the deadline arrives and he blames da kiwis for doing a drive-by on the day of his pretend sex change? A lot of suckers have thrown money at him over the years, not a considerable amount but still enough that this little stunt is going to backfire spectacularly and piss a lot of people off.

All the mongos sending Phil money out of their Tard Bux know Phil is lying poseur, because they're all lying poseurs themselves. They send Phil money out of "solidarity" and to "stick it to the man". Not a single one of them actually believes Phil's bullshit. They don't call him on it because the truth is unimportant to them. The truth breaks their collective illusion that they're all beautiful, feminine goddesses who are living under "oppression" from the "patriarchy" and that they aren't to blame for their shitty lives. They aren't going to call Phil on his bullshit or stop giving him money, because then they run the risk of being called out on their bullshit and have people stop giving them money. It's like an Autistic Circle of Life.

There's plenty of research and anecdotal evidence out there that shines a light on just how ineffective SRS is to people in treating long term mental diseases like GD and DID.

While I'm sure it helps some, it doesn't actually treat the underlying illness nor remove the conditional mindset they've put themselves in for years of being marginalized, depressed, oppressed or victim thinking. Eventually they realize they're just the same as they were before, but now with mutilated genitals.

I swear I read a story about how post SRS suicide rates were just as high as pre SRS. Can't seem to find it now though.

His post about how he feels unhappy with his body for reasons other than gender was, I think, quite telling. I've long since stopped wondering if Phil will ever improve, but that felt like one of the only honest things he's ever said.

It's actually quite sad, in a way. Wasn't Phil frustrated with his weight way before he trooned out? The whole Sasuke diet thing was part of it, I think.

I get the feeling Phil always knew he wasn't as attractive as some people, but could never work out that sometimes you just have to accept that and be a fun person to be around anyway. Instead he went the whole make myself look like a lunatic and guilt people into paying attention to me route. Sadly, that only works when you're a teen/young adult. After that, you just look like a crazy old man.
