I'd have to say the "Juggalo Girls" quip is a clear attempt to save face. Every time someone brings up his sex life (or lack thereof), it's the only weapon he has to counter such accusations.

And considering his unemployment, delusions, and lack of direction or prospects in life, I'm personally not sure if he'd be much of a catch to begin with. But the whole fear of turning gay thing is probably a part of his religious upbringing. Like one day you can be tricked into turning gay and suddenly want to suck cocks.

Speaking of homosexuality, it's quite ironic that Jace's father figure is completely cool with gay people when he carries around a miniature version to possibly prevent himself from becoming one himself. I think google has a new algorithm or whatever that shows relevant guesses based on previous search history, not necessarily most popular searches like before.
For example, before the change you could type in "am I a" and it would fill in suggestions with the most popular searches world wide. Now it will fill in guesses based on things you've previously looked up. If you just spent a lot of time reading about homosexuality, the first result will be "am I a homosexual." If you spent a lot of time reading about traits of narcissism, the first result will be "am I a narcissist" etc.
The results are relevant to your personal searches, but not necessarily things you have literally searched for.
