They played the two short films that they had dubbed and did a Q&A with some of the voice actors. I know they recorded it because one of the Japanese execs couldn’t make it.
On the Hana bunny thing. On her instgram stories, it seems that she still showed up to her booth and even got offers from people to help “guard” her booth and will show up tomorrow. In the end she seemed grateful to everyone. If this was some sort of set up to get out and go to thot con, I think she would’ve just posted that one message and that’s it. Just my thought.

Haven't looked into this any but I do recall shenanigans last year with a jav model or something. I believe it involved poor handling of people that were suppose to help her and show her the way to places, and some money stuff. Could be something similar if everything else seemed to be good.

I find it funny the fats are trying to dunk on Matsuri for inviting a lot of cosplayers and YouTubers, sticking their head in the sand and ignoring the obvious fact the boycott failed as how successful Matsuri still is. This also shows how irrelevant they are. Also the voice actors in KickVic should be very worried that fucking cosplayers and YouTubers can get booths and pull lines just as well (and some even better) than them.
Armzgurl is just mad she isn’t going to be invited to an event with this many people, and even if she somehow ever did, her arms would be longer than her line.

Yes, they premiered them each of them on Friday night and last night respectively and followed them with a Q&A panel.
A panel that NO ONE HAS UPLOADED, YET.
I'm stunned that no one did so, considering it's the biggest news surrounding the convention.

Wonder how the dub is, though most importantly, I want to know how those shorts are. The Young Animator Training Project anime tended to all be hit-or-miss, but at the very least, the visuals tended to look really good.
Most likely can't legally show the shorts anyway, but I wonder if recording was prohibited in general. Anime Matsuri might've wanted to release stuff on it themselves and may be waiting until after the convention.

To the filthy casuals, the answer to those questions can be traced back to Nick Rekieta.
Rekieta invited all of them there (well, Venti was invited by ThatStarWarsGirl). Rekieta also built up a rapport with the Leighs because he is a "cordial motherfucker."

I don’t understand this bitching about having artist alley on a different floor. Guess what? Anime Expo does the same fucking thing. Big cons attract more vendors for the exhibit hall and artists, thus needing them in a separate space. Exhibit hall already gets crowded and it’s not like people don’t know it exist. Artist alley was crowded all convention long too btw. This is such a weird argument on how “the con is bad.”
