I don't think there's any attempt at re-evaluation or even regret here. It's just the standard, loathsome "Look how awful my life is! You can make a statement against abuse by giving me money which I will then waste on stupid crap!" It's the most cynical kind of cash grab.

That being said, I think he does occasionally get pangs of "oh shit I wasted my life," but he's too pompous or too cowardly to admit to that. It's the "scared Vikki is going to leave me" or "does anyone really want me?" posts, those ones that indicate that perhaps people aren't all in awe of Izzy Hell's crusade against the cis-tem.

A therapist could have a field day with Phil. To borrow a phrase from Douglas Adams, he has personality problems beyond the dreams of analysts. Unfortunately, while he clearly is fucked in the head, it's not in the cool "abuse survivor with PTSD and bipolar disorder and multiple personalities" way, but rather in the "scared autistic kid who never grew up and is so desperate for approval that he'll destroy his life for a few asspats" way.

90% of what we take for granted about Phil is mostly his internet bullshit persona. The whole "Toren is going to leave me boo fucking hoo" is for asspats, Phil is scared of Toren....but also scared of bring alone I suppose.
The DID is obvious bullshit, his suicide baiting is bullshit, his blackouts and medical history outside being autistic is bullshit.
Like Chris if you take Phil away from the internet he's basically boring, the main difference between phil and CWC is that the drama in Phil life is from negative IRL influences (jordman, dusty, toren, Greta ) rather than trolls.
Without kiwi drama and facebook shit he's basically happy to sit and eat cheese. The majority of his wacky adventures never actually happen.
Phil knows the farms doesn't have real "field agents" and don't pose a real threat, he knows the world isn't as bad as he says it is, but he needs them asspats.

Phil's just a very boring (and autistic) trying to make his very empty existence seem interesting. His time with Jordan was eventful but became mundane when he was with tweaker, new peak during kiwi resurgence and further peaked during his civil war with tweaker and now he's desperate for any fresh drama but it denied due to our block in him. The only thing interesting in his life is Toren and Greta's threads.

Eh, I'll mostly agree with you, save to say that Phil's life does seem to be on a downward spiral. No, he's not likely to commit suicide or contract AIDS (that would require someone, or something, to have sex with him in the first place) or get mugged by hobos (that would require him to at least look like he's worth mugging in the first place!).

But... He's thirty something and barely has anything to show for it, save some shitty tattoos and a lot of hot topic bondage gear. Yeah I get that it's an act, but still, there's very little to his life and less room for improvement. He's basically going to live life as a welfare leech. Also, he IS very likely to face health problems due to obesity and a sedentary lifestyle, but t hats more of a long-term thing; he's not losing a foot tho diabetes tomorrow, and maybe never!

That said, I am curious to see what happens to Phil and his weird constructed identity when the whole trans trend dies down. I mean, here's an idiot so dedicated to ass pats that he was willing to pay money to permanently scrawl shit on his body that won't be relevant ten years from now.

For the most part I agree but Phil is currently on a blip in his otherwise downhill slide.
If we ignore (but not dismiss) what @Ravenor found about Phil's secret apartment then this is the first time in years Phil has had a stable and longterm roof over his head and he managed to keep a job until he got what he wanted.
Phil's very likely going to fuck it up and I suppose you could say he already has by having Toren take it from him but this is currently the most stable Phil has been in years.

I don't think he really gets the concept of a long term future. He just thinks, consciously or not, that everything's going to stay the same forever - he'll always be this edgy teenage trans latinx womanx freaking society out and getting paid by asspatters. He'll never be old or sick. I doubt he's even aware of how much he's physically declined in the last ten years.

Any of you guys remember Animorphs? There was a godlike character called the Ellimist who did minor things to alter events. In one of K.A.'s "chronicles" supplements, she wrote about him and his race, the Ketrans. When he was an adolescent, the Ellimist was basically just a gamer and his kind played a game that revolved around making the most minute changes to a hypothetical species to drive big development.
