Phil really should try to understand that "all publicity is good publicity".
If he had just embraced the "guy who sucks at video games" persona, he would both be more likable and richer. Instead, he wants to isolate himself from any sort of criticism. Truly a hermit.
But if he did, he would be leaving them open to be doxed didn't you know.

If DSP had a shred of humility and did any research on how to drive traffic to his YT channel (and subsequently, his livestreams) instead of assuming he knew best, he would have found out that likes and dislikes are treated equally by the algorithm. The same goes for positive and negative comments. "All publicity is good publicity" is not just an aphorism, but quite literally the law of the land.

He just said Life is Strange was bad because it made him feel bad about being an American. And that type of thing is ok some time if it's with a measured hand and not with a heavy hand.

Here’s the real craziness though... I’m sure Phil would agree that his “jawb” at end of the day is to entertain people, right?
Well, it doesn’t get more entertaining than this, lol!
Heck, had he spent half an hour on cutting it together into his own TIHYDP/DSP gets trolled in WoW video, he’d probably still be making bank on it (relatively) given the difference between his and detractors discoverability.
But oh, that’s right... As much as he loves money, his ego comes first.

Phil does realize that everyone can see who clicked LIKE and RETWEET? All he did was to transfer his problems to somewhere else, on the shoulders of his fans who should come out now. Nobody stops the evil trolls to harass his fans somewhere else.
Note: Provided this is actually happening in scales so big that Phil had to seal away any interaction. It does not. He just protects himself from the bad bad baaad loud mouthes who mention his hipocrisy.

I still don't get what phil thinks will be different about his fans quote-tweeting him instead of replying directly to his tweets. Anyone can click on the "quote tweets" button and read all of them.
Later on Phil will just tell his fans to DM him, like he told people watching his videos to email him when he disables comments.

I guess Phil must have read our comments about him getting the Deluxe edition of Judgement, because he just spent five days justifying it and talking about “the free credits” a fan had donated.
Still shilling Gamepass so fucking hard.
I don’t think he realizes how absolutely shameless it sounds when someone shoveling in 2-300$ a day is super excited about “how he can play the game without making an investment!”

He also said that he didn't agree with this practice but he gave them money for it anyway, he's really banking on Lost Judgment to save his streams. Boy I sure can't wait for it to be a repeat of every other of his Yakuza game playthroughs where he either falls asleep or pauses every 2 minutes to pigsplain what some Chinky Chang Wang just said in the cutscene, turning a 10 minute cutscene into a 30 minute cutscene, 45 minutes if you also include his post-cutscene pigsplanation of the cutscene everyone just watched
