don't think they have much of a relationship at all, outside of occasional social media comments like that. garrett clearly doesn't even view jack as a father figure given that he referred to his grandpa as the "only REAL father figure in my life" a while back and seems to be very close with his mom (jack's ex wife) based on his IG posts

i wonder how much of that is due to tammy and her jesus BS which obviously clashes with garrett's (more successful) lifestyle. if you watch the sunday morning coffee video, she's grinning the entire time when jack talks about how he choked garrett out and took him to the ground. wouldn't surprise me at all if she drove jack away from his own son. i also recall on a live chat a while back that jack mentioned the few times garrett visited them in TN that he was not allowed to stay in their house because they didn't want him around jack jr. another move that tammy was 100% behind. and of course jack, being the massive bitch he is, goes along with it because he knows how fucked he is without tammy

Why is Jack acting annoyed at fast food gimmicks? He goes apeshit over gimmicky fast foods. He will gleefully make new JOTG videos of him giggling like a teenage girl at a boy band concert while waiting for Wendy's new bacon burger or barbeque burger. Gimmicky is his whole schtick, be it gimmicky foods or appliances. I'd ask why he doesn't just lean into that, because that could actually be fun and entertaining to watch, but this is Jack we're talking about.

It's because he feels the need to go and try them but doesn't like the "celebrities" that are being mentioned. So in buying it he's somehow giving them money or something. Whereas they've already gotten their money from the endorsement so whether it's successful or not doesn't matter. Enough people are going to try it anyway.

Jr is 21 years old. Steve left the show in 2002, meaning Jr would have been 2. Not old enough to really know who the fuck Steve was.

Garrett would have been 6 or 7 when Blues Clues started in 1996. Old enough to be within the target audience at that time, but not for long, and he would have been going to school around that time (Garrett is 31), so he'd be unable to watch it.
