She's singing in an intentinally lower, raspy voice in a different octive covering it like a more jazzy piano version. I don't know how you don't see that. That's totally normal when covering a song that's redone in a totally different instrumentation/style.

Edit: I'm actually MATI that you call that bad singing. I'm sorry she screwed up your goddamn anime OP. Watch these and tell me she's a bad singer. Give me my damn hats.

Choco released an original song and it's actually pretty good so I guess it's just Ame and Noel now, maybe even they will become good with time

I wonder if Hololive at this point have inventory of some systems and maybe just a regular gaming PC or two to loan out just in case their members have issues like this or they just shrug.

The only equipment hololive provides are iphones, the only extra equipment available is stuff the girls donated because they got a bunch as birthday presents. It's honestly ridiculous at this stage that they dont kit talents out with a gaming PC at least
 
I was surprised when Melody said she was putting out a song because I would never associate singing with her. The song itself I expected even less, a yandere rap? It just feels really random for her, and also I think rapping is a weird choice when she doesn’t want to acknowledge YFU’s existence.

She doesn't really sound off-key to me so much as nervous. She misses a few notes here and there probably just from nerves but otherwise she sounds fine.
