Chris was likely placed in several remedial classes to get out of the way and then shoved into multiple study hall periods, thus increasing the percentile of his total grades. This is how he got placed onto the honor roll. Bob might have said that he didn't make honor roll because Chris took only 3 or 4 classes instead of a full class load. We've never heard about Chris' days in physical education BTW...

I admit, I went google image searching, and ebay searching to see if I could find this tie, I couldn't. :/

I just noticed the sad girl to the left. She looks like she'd been crying. I guess she just said goodbye to someone, I hope years and years later she found that person she said goodbye to on facebook.

Pokemon tie or not... Nonetheless I think that, amazingly, this is the pic in which he looks most sane and grown-up. If he wore an ordinary tie, he and Kelly might be an ordinary adult couple, with a somewhat dorky but normal and good-natured male part.

I imagine that the school staff was just glad to finally be able to get rid of their "special snowflake" (and his crazy parents) and didn't really care if Chris went to throw a temper tantrum after handing him his diploma or what he thought about them afterwards since he wasn't their problem anymore. Sad, but most probably true.

I remember that when I was graduating, my school let all of us know that any "disruptions" would result in a fine and we would not be able to get our diplomas/transcripts/whatever until we worked something out with the school. I don't know if Manchester High School had a similar policy but hey, that might be the added amount of courage they would need to bitch slap Chrissy.

I think Chris may have got honor roll at the bare minimum. If you're not taking advanced classes, it's extremely easy to get a 3.0 average, and part of me thinks that Chris would have put forth the minimum effort for said grades back in high school.

My mistake. I would have assumed that his graduation would be important, as well as not making him look like a manchild. But to each their own.
