If China gave a shit about administrating anything outside their irredenta they probably could: rapidly modernising up from an utter clusterfuck has been like their whole business which is the entire reason they're starting to export that expertise. People in this thread who think China is a threat against the west but the Russians are Bros. None of it makes any sense and I doubt highly that any country can extract anything positive out of the shit hole known as Afghanistan, especially since we been pulling out the best people over the past month.
 
I feel like the American people are the Bob to Joe Biden's Chris chan. We keep telling our sorry excuse for a leader to actually evacuate our fellow citizens, but he keeps on saying "I'm working on it!" to get us to go away. Except Joe Biden's procrastination and cowardice is costing lives.

Thinking about it, the Romans did a better job in maintaining their client-states in some aspects than the US. While they appointed governors, the conquered territories' societal structure and lifestyles remained largely intact and they didn't impose to these colonies the latest fads and degeneracies from the homeland.
