This kind of thing would drive a normal person to find a new career. Then again, they probably wouldn't end up like this to begin with. Still, even Phil should be seeing the writing on the wall here.
Phil doesn't understand that talking about WHY you're holding marathons (we'll set aside the fact that his don't actually qualify as marathons) is not what you're supposed to do. If somebody asks why you appear to be stepping it up a notch (which his fans don't do anyway), you answer with anything other than talk of needing money. Why? Because naming "money" as the reason, turns you into a beggar.
