I thought Ghosts and Goblins was pretty funny due to the salt. I agree with ur point overall @AckaholAnonymous . All evidence of the pokemon snap streams need to be deleted. They were horrifying. Except the one with all the Derich impersonators 😂
 
So one thing here on this forum that has been an interesting retcon amongst us illegal vulture trolls is the sudden love of PandaLee.
If you go back to the first couple of years of this thread, there is real hatred of her and a lot of making fun of her appearance in every way. Now, Phil has Khet, so now Panda is some super hottie who never did anything wrong?
It makes me want a divorce arc for Phil even more because Phil will find another gal somehow, some way, and then it will be very fun for me to see all the people suddenly saying how gorgeous and cool Khet was lol.
The divorce arc is just like Phil’s heart attack, around the corner at anytime. Khet has gained at least 60 lbs in the last year and is a major reason why Phil does not want her seen on his streams. I would love nothing more for Phil to blame his lack of love for Khet because he doesn’t find her attractive anymore because she refused to take care of herself and eat less McDonald’s.

I think it's because the match appeared purely opportunistic on her part to jump the line of internet relevancy off DSP's clout. That could be seen as worthy of repudiation. But she eventually wised up.

People legit hated Panda in the beginning because she was an insufferable child. However as she got older she was less of a sperg, and Phil made her seem a sympathetic figure due to his "grooming" of her, general treatment, and the Hospital drama. It isn't a retcon, it is an arc. Now that Panda is too old for Phil, he needed to find a new Soulmaid to do chores for him while he plays vidya and faps to wrasslin pixels.

People disliked her back then because she was obnoxious but she was a literal child, dude
Phil has made "I've machoored and improoved" into a meme but Lee quite clearly has while Dave is still the same person he was two decades ago
And yes teenagers are still kids in my eyes
 
Why does he use words so inappropriately? Talking about Sonic 'cuisine' or whatever else. He does realize that cuisine refers to a type of cooking, not just food. It just makes him sound stupid.

Recently, many people have commented on just how boring Phil’s streams have become. His streams mostly consist of retarded singing and food talk, turbo-begging, and mindless gameplay in the background. It’s amazing to consider that one of the most talked about days on the farms recently was an off day for Mr. Mature Adult. But why have Phil’s gameplay streams become an especially soulless, mind-numbing experience in the past year + ? The games he chooses to play.

There was a time when Phil’s gameplay provided quite a bit of gold dust: Repetitive fails, lashing out at game devs, getting destroyed by puzzle bosses; these things have generally been absent from his streams for many months. Here are the games Phil has played since finishing Demon’s Souls Remake (which he had to play but hated) in December 2021 (in general chronological order):

  • Twin mirror – a narrative adventure game that was AWFUL as a stream game.
  • Yakuza: Like a Dragon – Dragged out WAY too long
  • Cyberpunk 2077 – Constant bitchfest until he beat the game, returned it, and was reimbursed.
  • AC: Valhalla – some of the worst, most repetitive and boring streams on the internet.
  • Bugsnax – Clown moded through this whole game
  • Immortals: Fenyx Rising – Handheld for most of it
  • Hitman 3 – played on normal difficulty which was easy and boring
  • Super Mario 3D world – boring and repetitive, some salt but very little.
  • Divinity OS2 – Difficult game that he can’t be handheld all the time? We know what happened with this playthrough!
  • Ghosts ‘N Goblins – a difficult but terrible stream game, ended up being incredibly boring
  • Genshin Impact – Played for a bit then dropped, never should have played in the first place
  • Danganronpa v3 – Dragged out for ThePastryarchy’s guaranteed $50 per stream, handheld.
  • NieR Replicant – dragged out for OroTurtle guaranteed $$$, handheld.
  • Returnal – bitched and complained the whole time
  • Pokemon Snap – To please our boy Derish apparently, also could play while drinking gin.
  • Resident Evil Village – Played on Standard difficulty, was handheld through any part that required thinking
  • Mass Effect 1 Legendary Edition – Incredibly boring. Idk what difficulty but its not insanity and already and easy game.
  • Fallout New Vegas – Promised an explosive build, only to drop that. Handheld to the max, lets companions do all the work.
  • Virtua fighter 5 – dropped after the slightest resistance online
  • Mass effect 3 – same as ME1
  • Ratchet and Clank: RA – bad playthrough, didn’t choose the hardest difficulty
  • Mario Golf – Rage quit online play after mostly boring campaign
  • Skyward Sword HD – just started, going to be another long, boring playthrough with no difficulty
  • Finally, mix in games like fall guys, CoD, and SFII for Jaxx’s whale tips

What’s the pattern here? Phil doesn’t want to play anything that requires thinking. He expects to turn on his stream, go through the motions, and get paid $400 per day. He also hates gaming and wants to spend as little as possible on new games while expecting his audience to tip as much as possible for shitty games and repeated playthroughs.

No one watches DSP for gameplay anymore – his fans watch and support for the Us. vs. Them mentality, and his detractors watch for his pathetic begging, scams, and general stupidity in between. His gameplay is objectively terrible right now – he wastes time, doesn’t challenge himself, and gets handheld an inordinate amount in even easy games. Once again, none of this will change until his whales force him to change.

Last good game Phil played was Crash Team Racing, with that game he was actually getting frustrated and it was pretty funny.

I agree with all of this. I don't watch the newer TIHYDP's mainly because of his game choices. Crash and DK64 were the last ones which I had a laugh at watching. There are other games too, but mostly it's just highlights instead of full playthroughs. The best and albeit only part of Mario 3D World which had to be seen was the last level.

His highest levels of salt comes from him playing the hardest difficulty (RE2 and 0), racing games, and most platformers.
