Apparently Dream said before that if he does a face reveal, it’ll be with some help from YouTube, and George would be around.
Around the same day, George is making jokes that he is in Florida and recently, the Loud British child was doing a q&a where he casually mentioned that next week is when Dream would face reveal.

Apparently SapNap also brought it up saying that he would leak the video or something like that, so it’s going to be in video form, if it’s actually real.

I guess the real question is, will we finally actually see Clayton, or is he still going to force his poor brother to be a stand in?
There’s also the possibility that Clay uses filters, as they’re not uncommon and a lot of e-girl/instahoes use them for their videos in order to appear attractive and more curvy. So if there is a face reveal, be on the look out for warped backgrounds I guess?

OR it’s just a big joke all around, and it’s another jebait meme.

Either way, it’s rather interesting. The timing also makes sense because Dream’s popularity has admittedly been dipping and he hardly gets on the trending page these days. Plus he’s been coming under more and more fire. Maybe he thinks a face reveal will have a resurge in popularity and this is an attempt to get his fat fingers back with a grip on the limelight?

It sounds like a jebait to get more people watching/subbing. But if he did use his brother we'd have proof the dox was true, and also his brother doesn't look how he portrays himself to the stans. Wouldn't he want to avoid that entirely?

I could see with him going full fat and not hiding it. All he'd have to do is talk about how he struggled with bodyshaming when people leaked his pictures and that scared him from doing it earlier, but now he's totally found the "courage" to reveal himself. Then his neurotic audience goes nuts calling him brave and shit.

It's the lowest effort, highest payout option. Then again, Dream's kind of a dumbass, so he may fully disregard this option.
 
He may have lost some of the weight if he was keeping up with Sapnap on his weight loss. I can't wait to see the stans reactions to this though as it will be, if he doesn't use a stand in, the same face as the fat pictures we have. Will they still say it wasn't him in the fat pictures? Will they call us out for fat shaming Dream? If he uses a stand in it will be hilarious. There is no way he could use his brother as we know what he looks like. Either way next week will be fun.

I really think the stans don't actually want Dream to face reveal. Of course they will be curious but I think they would rather remain blissfully unaware, maintain an idealized mental image and able to continue drawing him as a cute uwu twink rather than risk disappointment.

They'd still sate their curiosity and be disappointed.
I think with weight loss and even lean and fit, as close to this fake-dream Clay could ever hope to get, his face and hair don't meet the false image he's encouraged and he's not a "pretty boy" so it'd disappoint the stans. Plus a face reveal will confirm the obese images are him and all the skinnyboy stuff before the reveal was a lie, not that stans will care he lied.

Eventually most will move on to some other young 20s eceleb to draw fanart of.
 
100% a jebait. Dream is far too self-conscious and prideful to ever do a face reveal, especially in his current state of obesity. Even if he had lost weight due to being a man-child who supposedly pays his mommy to cook for him; his ego (which is larger than him) could not bare to destroy the stans image of a 6'2 green eyed blonde haired hunk (which he can never be.)

This is the same guy who was so overweight that (Samantha claims) he refused to go on walks during the day, and would only go on walks with her at night to lose weight because he was so fat that he was ashamed of people seeing him; and was also afraid of being recognized by rabid stans whilst doing this.

Uh idk. Given how he denies that the fat guy is him, he would be seen as a hypocrite if he ever shows up. Just more ammunition to be used against him and with how crazily woke his stans are now, there would be many that would call him out for it. Of course, i'm not gonna talk about the crazy ones that would want to fuck him regardless of what he does, those are unsalvageable and should not be seen as normal people anymore. But given how he's so skilled in gaslighting kids, he might pull it off.

There was this time where he supposedly went to UK to film a vlog with george and wilbur but turns out he didn't? Stans kept asking for the vlog to be released so they could see dream's face and it never did. So dream kept calling george lazy or something, that george didn't want to edit and finish the vlog. So people started shitting on george for it and later its revealed that dream wasn't even in it.
 
I was doing some more research into Dream's editor Firesale and came across what is supposed to be their private alt account. And I found some interesting public replies to it.

Dream isn't even paying his struggling editor enough to survive, when he pretty much has to be at least a millionaire at this point. (Judging from his house, anyways) And that's terrible.

What would you guys wager would be a fair amount to pay an editor who edits videos not even a minute long?

And, well, I don’t mean to defend Clayton here, but it seems Firesale was given a “lower work load” during a time of need (context in first photo), and @lovergracc was expressing that despite the lower work load, Dream still has the money to support Firesale, which is strange as Dream has no obligation to.

Idk, in my opinion you should not be relying on editing shorts to survive. I wouldn’t assume the fair amount given would be enough to support all living expenses.

Here's a novel idea, maybe they can try getting an actual job?
 
I don't know much about video editing for Youtubers but you can't rely on income from editing for one person that puts out content inconsistently. I could understand if this person was editing for a streamer that needed clips and videos put out daily, but Dream is not like that.

There’s a few editors who edit for big YouTubers, such as Wheatskins and Tommyinnit’s editor, who edits for a good amount of the MCYoutubers+Schlatt, and they handle multiple at least 19 minute long videos when it comes to Tommy and Jackmanifold, I believe they edit the vlogs as well both of which is probably hours on hours of footage.
If this guy is only being allowed to do the shorts and is struggling to find editing work, chances are, they’re not a good editor and if this is the troon, it’s possible he was only hired for “diversity” so Clay doesn’t look transphobic.

This is some of the most unremarkable, passionless "I spent 10 minutes in Premiere" level editing I've ever seen. It's exactly the same style, timing, etc. as every other generic Youtube editor who thinks making the video shake and putting subtitles over everything is the pinnacle of skill. "8 years of experience" and absolutely fucking nothing to show for it.

You're correct, this is some of the most basic fucking editing I have seen. A good editor can make or break a video, i've seen some fucking stellar editing with youtube creators, and then on the other hand there's this.

But, there's something that bothers me about this editing specifically. So, excuse my autism, but I'm going to do a breakdown of everything I find egregiously awful in this editing reel.

First of all, as you've mentioned, the beginning is just making the video shake and making the subtitles all wACkYYYY wOAHHHHH, which anyone with "8 years" of editing experience would be able to do a hell of a lot better.
During the "here's who I've worked with here is what I can do" segment, the background is just a stock editor program effect where the background image moves around, not much experience required there.
The dream shorts part has the sound effect when the burger pops in delayed. The sound effect is entirely off sync from when the burger pops in, making it feel out of place and amateurish, a mistake someone with "8 years" of experience would know how to fix.
The sneegsnag segment barely has any editing besides a twitter screenshot popping up and random undertale sound effects, which anyone could do.
Why are you using a Sponsor Segment to show off your skills? Also, there's basic ass editing here too as the only editing effect is making the text pop in from the bottom.
And then it ends with more basic text.

For someone with "8 years" of editing experience, not joking, this legitimately seems like something someone with minimal experience could learn in like, a week, maybe even shorter.
Whatever these people are giving this shit ass editor, they're probably overpaying, because there's barely any fucking editing being done.
