"Hispanic" is such a vague term, especially if you're evaluating genetics. Most of these people are already majority Spanish since most of the natives died from smallpox and other Old World diseases, so the genetic component favors rhe European side. Amerindian natives are too married to their land to move to the US so only mestizos and whites immigrate. Intermarriage between Hispanics and Whites is pretty big. It only takes around one or two generations for bleaching. Combine that with the birth rate decline of these now urban mestizos and higher rural white birth rate and demographics favor European descent.
