LOL! Is the whale really advocating for the local Chinese place as a bastion of cultural ambassadorship? More likely than not if these people showed up, they'd be told to GTFO!
This year's Matsuri caught me off guard, otherwise, I might've taken some PTO for that, looks like people had loads of fun, while blobs like Ren pop some lard-filled blood vessels.
To be fair, according to someone I know who went, there were a lot of panels moved and/or cancelled.
Vic mentioned in his Sunday panel that AM typically has 400+ volunteer staff and they only had 200+ this year.
So yeah, organisation sucking is likely, but they still made out like bandits because the con scene was concentrated into like 6 big events.

I think I saw Spirit Jr in the YF picture.
That would imply that anything Vic wears is not weird.
Spirit fills up most of the frame, so it is hard to miss him. He was yelling all over the con, according to my source, and being an ass all weeked.
