While they obviously should not have done that in retrospect, it completely undermines the process if you can cut a deal with a prosecutor and then they can just renege on it at will.

I'm aware. I think it's fair to say he was only really prosecuted because the prosecutors wanted media brownie points instead of following the law.

I'm sure the mayor of Houston is super interested in what some rando pony faggot has to say. That sense of self-importance all those maggots have.
 
I was able to go this year and I had a nice time. I appreciate that the staff were very kind and helpful. I was able to attend Vic's Saturday panel and I enjoyed it quite a bit. And of course, Vic was wearing his famously flamboyant pants. Vic pretty much said that Houston was based for supporting him and even making it able to happen despite the lockdowns. I still don't understand why people single out Anime Matsuri as "the worst con ever". I don't hear the same accusations being thrown around at other popular conventions because I'm sure they have issues of their own. The mayor of Houston has been very supportive of AM so it does bother me when I see these no-life shit heads post comments like that.

Actually, I can think of a scenario where Vic did cause the missing child alert.

Mom, Dad, and Timmy are walking to a place for lunch. Timmy spots Vic and his current apparel abomination, and can't stop staring. Mom and Dad walk on, Timmy gets lost in the crowd (since Vic actually has a crowd around him), and boom, missing child caused by screamy broccoli man.
 
Hi hello here to add a few things.

1. Anyone can submit to have a panel considered at most cons. In case these landwhales and costhots have forgotten, that's how it works at almost all shows unless it's a bigger event. At bigger events they usually ask for qualifications and a sample of panel material, but even then if people want the panel they will make it happen.

2. The AV actress and "AM babies" were an easy target because they hate sex work when it isn't other landwhales or nasty plastic bitches who smell like they've worked construction for a week straight and haven't taken a shower. That's how you know it came from their side. Because if it was some fat bitch promoting an orgy they'd be hyped for it. SeaWorld is in San Antonio, not Houston, and they stopped their orca breeding program.

3. They also hate black people who aren't subservient. Watching the stages of grief as they try not to let their racism slip is enjoyable.

Anyway, glad to see Matsuri is still the king of Texas anime cons. Die mad, hamplanets.
 
Sad to see this saga is still as weird as it ever was. Nobody can enjoy their animated shows in peace anymore.
