Perhaps a rather dumb question, but what seperates Vtuber kayfabe from DreamSMP kayfabe? Im not speaking as an outsider, but the few times i decide to check out DreamSMP clips out of curiosity, i keep thinking "Wow, this feels way too scripted, and everyone takes themselves too seriously in the story". But whenever i follow Vtuber lore, like Olivia's stream earlier, i don't feel like ripping my ears out. I wonder why is that?

Because if you're a Minecraft streamer, you get more attention by being obnoxious and smug as fuck, while being extremely pretentious over every little thing (as per clickbait titles) and manufacturing drama out of nothing.
Meanwhile a VTuber aims to be cute and likable. They don't always succeed, but Ollie and most of the big names are very good at this. They don't take their drama nearly as seriously, they mostly acknowledge that they're putting on a performance, and they're generally better at voice acting.

Saw this from a short-lived thread on /vt/ and from looking into this further found this announcement post from Reddit where this was posted in the r/ANI-Communism (source/archive) subreddit. 4 months ago, a post was made on the subreddit whereas a user named u/Stenkyrka proposed the idea for a leftist Vtuber group (source/archive) which would eventually give inspiration to this group. There are a total of 8 members in this group from what I see there are 3 Troons, 1 black girl, 1 normal-sounding guy, a spicfag, and the last one I can't tell if Troon or an actual girl because they talked extremely low(I could be wrong on the ones who may be Troons). And from looking into their Twitter accounts theirs not much but some of them are interesting.

There's not much on this Troon as their Twitter mostly retweets and not much from their VODS in Twitch either.

Roby Vtuber (Twitter, Youtube) This Troon may have potential, as they are a lefty spicfag from Chile who in current and past either streams or shitpost cringe memes with some communism in the mix. Recently, Roby is out of money even with Patreon(archive) to fund their antidepressants and for his fathers' insulin. So he made a gofundme(archive) to fund it.

This Troon was the first one I looked into, before joining Sahou, they already had an avatar and made several commentary videos for a while then after joining they were provided a different avatar. This video here is where they announced them joining Sahou and discuss what it is. Their usage of Twitter strange as they just tweet random shit.

The Offical main account is run by Roby and Amano (Twitter) and their Youtube is empty for now. They either retweet the other member's posts, promote streams or talk about political shit.

NijisanjiEN is doing a spicy noodle eating stream.

Finana also seems to be getting bombarded with wall plug + egg emotes because of the story of her father opening her package. She seems like she's learning to just roll with it so it doesn't have power like when she first debuted and was getting a little bit of shit from some Gura fans for being a fish girl too. And she got her big beef PC today.
 
It seems Ame has suffered a bad relapse with minecraft. I guess I prefer it to mario 64 but it isn't that much better imo.

Last time she quit minecraft cold turkey after she burned herself out making the monster spawner. This time she's trying to make an even more complicated one. Now it makes perfect sense she's the time-travelling one, destined to do the same shit over and over without ever learning.
