Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

shrouded hand is a personal favorite. He does a combination of horror shit posts and general horror content. He covers ghost stories from old books too, which are kinda interesting. His channel is a little more paranormal/occulty, and he has a thick accent, but something about his videos keep me coming back. Plus, hes covered stuff no one else does

Fascinating horror is just a history channel for disasters. Not sure if thats what your looking for, but he does deserve a mention.

Disturban covers some gruesome true crime if thats up your ally. Some of the descriptions turned my stomach.

Rainbot used to be good when I watched her a couple years ago, but I haven't watched her in over a year. basically Nexpo but female and occasionally funny.

These guys are pretty different than Nexpo, apart from Rainbot, but you might like them.

I've already voiced my support for Disturban but his channel is a new find so I'm still going through his older videos, and I have to agree that some of the descriptions are exceptionally gruesome. Plagued Moth might be going through the more obvious/conventional gore content (which I still enjoy when he's not on his soapbox about how awful we are for watching gore vids) but Disturban's video on Fidel Lopez and Maria Nemeth is the one video I have ever clicked out of and never resumed. Fucked me up.

Still a great channel, though. Hopefully he doesn't let his followers swell his head like these creators are prone to do.

That Chapter in particular has this thing he does every single sentence where he starts it off normal and slows down until there’s a a noticeable gap between the last two words.

See, I don't mind if horror channels try to have some personality and shit. I don't want them to over do it, but I don't mind them cracking a joke here and there, even if it's at the criminal's expense. It lightens up the mood, and can be used to lampshade some of the weirder shit that happens in the videos, like when Monsters joked that the Autobots and Decepticons were having a random battle outside the interrogation room to explain the sudden loud mechanical crashing noises that were happening.

Frankly, I'm much more concerned with people actually getting the facts right when it comes to the cases like Monsters didn't do in the same video.

My main problem with these Youtube horror channels is how they take some Reddit posts and overblow them. I'd rather they just read them instead of trying to make theories and acting like detectives or psychologists. Everything has to be some big conspiracy, schizo shit or major crime to them.

He spends the beginning of his crucifixion video whining that "people" showed him criticism of him on an unamed forum, calling him a talentless uncool pussy. He took several minutes out of his video to tell the audience that he's TOTALLY NOT BOTHERED at all about it and how hes DEFINITELY NOT a faggot poser with small penis issues. I look forward to his future arrest on CP and/or domestic abuse charges.

Recently discovered ColdRavensNest. Raven does breakdowns and commentary on mondo gore mix tapes like MDPOPE, the ogreish collections, guro-milk, et al. This guy is simultaneously very funny and incredibly annoying. But he's only 21 so a lot of his cringe can be excused. He does very detailed breakdowns, just going through and telling you bluntly what's in the movie clips. He also does a surprising amount of research for his videos. If you're into mondo gore or curious about it, check out his channel.

Well, sometimes it's justified, like with that guy who suddenly began spamming Reddit with the same message, but that one with datura... Now I have to fight the urge to create throwaway account on Reddit, make one random post, then post "guyz, I am gonna kill myself because KiwiFarms" and then "guyz, Im ded", so I could suggest this to one of these "creators" and see if they make 30-minute video out of it.

Speaking of which - do you think some of these fags are going to cover Near's death? Most likely as "horrible bloodcurdling story of cyberbullying" than as "is this nigga actually dead or what".

My main issue with Youtube Horror channels is really if some of them try to hard to be this super wholesome friendly guy to act like a parental figure to their audience because they keep calling them daddy or some shit. Alternatively there is the pretentious path where they act like they are smarter than the subjects they cover if it was an Arg or any fictional horror.

"Simultaneously funny and incredibly annoying" is a great way to describe him. He's grown on me a lot, and his discord will ban anyone who uses the term Latinx which is refreshing. I just skip his long rants about random shit and he's not too bad to watch.

Moth and other youtubers that cover gore videos and such really make the content seem worse than it really is, and they sometimes spread a lot of misinformation, like the Snuff R73, which was just a MDPOPE rip-off, something you can find out in minutes of research, but they make it to be some illegal depraved shit that everyone's afraid to talk about. Wendigoon has the same issue.
