In their defense, confirming a death of someone in a foreign country by suicide can be pretty fucking tricky to do, especially when you don't know their name. I do know someone with a link to some reporters in Japan, I might be able to get some information about something like this. Of course, it can take a while for bodies to be found too, especially if they die in the apartment and nobody does a wellness check for a while.

Out of their defense, they probably shouldn't publish this until it's confirmed.
