My thoughts on the stream:

I think we should all be pleasantly surprised by how deep into the case this thing actually got. Seemed to me that Nick was tryin' a softball approach but Vic was just spittin' straight fire, without seemingly compromising the case. That was awesome. That being said, I'm actually shocked by the lack of activity I'm seein' 'round these parts. I honestly thought we'd see an explosion similar to when we got the depos, and that was BEFORE it was clear they were actually delving into the case.

The winning moment was when we learned that Funimation rejected one of the most lenient settlement offers ever. Just delete the old tweet and stop talking about Vic. If that had actually been accepted and the terms leaked it would have pissed off ISWV big time.

I think we already knew about the harlots being chummy just days before stabbing him in the back, but it's nice to hear it from Vic.

They touched on Vic moving to Dallas for a permanent position at Funimation. I think they could have hit that point a little harder, or maybe that's TMI.

Yeah, that was one of the biggest rumors about this, and it seemingly is now confirmed -- Vic was going to become Sabat, Monica, and Marchi's boss. That's why they HAD to strike when they did, because he would have put an end to their bullshit. Doubly so with the Broly movie being the most successful DB movie ever (by a lot!). He would have had a lot of clout and a mandate to do whatever he wanted to the Funimation VA production line. No more casting couch. No more random bullshit politics being shoved into things. They would actually be held to something resembling a standard.

Makes me wonder if they knew Marzgurl was gonna spew her shit and conspired to time it with her, or they were just waiting for the constant chorus of bullshit from the female-incel tumblrinas would repeat and jumped in on it when it did.

Looks like Lawtwitter has started to wake up.

$50k is a year of Funimation's streaming service for roughly 700 people.

Not just that but it sounds like they didn't even counter offer up that "$50K" or any legal cost, they just straight went to no and that was final. How is Vic supposed to know what Funi wants if they dont do a counter offer. But instead they just straight up shot it down.
 
That was quite the stream, couldn't watch it live as that meant waking up at 5am and I prefer to sleep before going to work.

It's definitely a good thing that this happened two years after the lawsuit started, Vic came across as genuine and someone who is frustrated at the situation he's currently in which makes it easier to sympathise. It was also nice to see his appreciation for Nick and the audience for all their support, and his reaction to the gay pants ("I'll die on that hill" tickled me proper). But of course, lets not forget how he called out Toye without even using a slur.

I'm under the belief that a full reversal is the only favourable outcome for Vic, as we've seen these degenerates have been emboldened by Chupp's ruling and the brainlet twitter takes. If everything but one comes back you can absolutely bet these retards will be like "Not everything though! 18-16!".

Nothing particularly groundbreaking. Any of the juicy details Vic dropped were confirmations of theories have been throwing around here for years.

But that's okay cause the stream isn't primarily for people on here. It's for everyone else who is barely informed in what happened, in particular those who might be sympathetic to Vic. The stream is a very good summary as to what happened from the man who experienced it.

Honestly this was the biggest impact to me from the stream, even more than the negotiations. Like we've had numerous discussions about the motives behind why Monica, Sabat, etc. would do this now when they've been """friends""" for so many years, and I 100% believe we now have it. Trying to ruin Vic's life and career was done from more than mere pettiness or jealousy, it was to stop a clear danger to their clique authority and autonomy within Funimation. Director Vic would have absolutely made them clean up their act, and they weren't gonna have any of that shit.

Even if everything comes back they'll just squawk about how this time it'll be crushed in an actual trial once discovery shows off Funimation's investigation and 100% proves how Vic molested everyone within a 3 mile radius of the Funimation office.

Absolutely nothing would be funnier than to watch than a soy filled abuser like Ron Toye lose his shit and beat Monica Rial to death because she made up a lie about a co-worker she didn't like, and it cost Ron half a million dollars.

Yeah but if you know Vic's character that's not what he would want. Like most men, he just wants peace and to not be fucked with. Icing on top would be if there was some reconciliation and healing.
