During Michigan's COVID lockdowns last year, Governor Whitmer and her black Lieutenant Governor, Garlin Gilchrest II, made a similar declaration and implemented what I believe was an executive order requiring all health care professionals to get diversity/sensitivity training when they next renew their licenses. From a recent editorial, this training can only be from an approved source. So, I expect this training to be farcical on the level of the StarBucks training day that was discussed elsewhere here and exposed for the colossal joke it truly was.

That and the Chicago stuff serve to emphasize the fact that it's easier to blame racism (or any other -ism) on what's wrong with society than it is to actually do something about it.

For the record, if she were a man or even a white person acting the same way with the same results, I would have still been satisfied with how these guys handled the situation.
