It's also a mental fingertrap that keeps your mind fucked and keeps you unable to address your actual problems. I don't think this shit is accidental. That's an excellent point. It's a shame I haven't seen any Trumpers talking about how evil, sleepy Joe killed (however many people have been coofed since 1/19). The Biden supporters would likely respond with the rest of the American death toll, with the result being an autistic argument over whose old man is more literally "literally Hitler."

I don't know where the whole "Trump caused COVID deaths" came from but it's just fucking retarded, I'm guessing it came from the MSM but speaking of COVID deaths, I wonder if Anthony Fantano will comment on Andrew Cuomo and Gretchen Whitmer putting COVID patients into nursing homes.

Re automation and super gay space communism talk a few pages back. I mean it would be great to free yourself from your job and have more time to do your hobbies, socialize, travel etc. Sounds lovely. The problem (aside being completely dependent on the state/system) is that it is still up to you to determine what gives your life meaning. Most people might find themselves in a crisis with this aspect and having that much free time (think retirement, laid off, time between lifes phases etc) though there are some motivated people out there who could turn hobbies into big projects or enjoy continuously traveling or whatever.

The SJWs advocating for this are NOT those types of people. They would still be completely miserable and unhappy even though they are free from all lifes perceived miseries. They would whither away in degeneracy, get depressed, and then still somehow blame everybody for their problems. When you have no hobbies outside of virtue signalling for social justice on twitter and collecting funko pops, and arent able to form close relationships due to your abhorrent personality, then what the fuck are you gonna do with all that free time? Probably just ruin it for everybody else I suppose

When Dinesh De Souza and other Conservative commentators say how the Dems are the real "racists" and "fascists" as their talking points, it really doesn't do them any justice and instead makes them look oblivious.

I see your point and get what you're saying. It still bothers me though. Especially because the concept of anti-racism doesn't live up to its name. More and more, I'm agreeing with the idea that anti-racism is just another way of saying anti-white. Racism is only bad when white people do it. Whenever non-whites do it, then it's either okay or it doesn't matter. Like with blacks committing hate crimes against Asians.

But I'm in over head. I don't know what to do about it. As time goes on, I find myself slowly drifting from impotent rage to indifference. I know apathy is bad too, but if there's nothing I can do about it then why bother caring at all?

You know what is real peculiar about progressive/sjw creative content is literally every character is some kind of 'smol bean' or entirely 'positive' one dimensional archetype. If it's not that it's some take on the tsundere 'actually a big softie' trope. Everyone is valid, everyone is a good person. There's never any hints they might be flawed or troubled, or if they are it's entirely related to their gender/sexual identity, or their daily conflicts with fascist bigots. There is no growth or adversity, they're already winners. It's legitimately worrying that an increasing amount of adults seem incapable of creating and handling difficult characters and stories.

I think a great example of a complex character is Ashley from Mass Effect. She was an abrasive asshole at the best of times and openly speciest, yet did her job to protect and serve because it was her duty. She grumbled, but never pretended to not see some alien citizen that needed help. It's kind of hard to completely hate someone who thought any non-human was a total nigger but was still willing to fight, even die for them. Yet to current softboi creators, a character like Ashley is completely unthinkable. It's hard to assume it's anything more than a projection of their own fragile thinking.
