The parliamentarian (that is democrat picked) is saying not everything can be budgetary for reconciliation, and you can only use it once a budgetary year.

The Cathedral is going to lash out hard in the next few months before Christmas, which is why they're trying one more hard push to break the filibuster and do something with Trump for extra two minutes of hate. If the job numbers on Friday are disappointing again you're going to see another distraction, which is probably what the Iran stuff going on right now could be.

The concerning part for me was where the parliamentarian also added that they could only use it more than intended in extreme circumstances "like an economic recession". These nutjobs 100% will crash the economy to get what they want, they're already in the process of it.

The next few days will be very telling regarding the fauci ordeal too. A lot is getting pinned on him finally but they are still running their spin ops in wapo and nyt. They may game for a big enough happening to get everyone nice and distracted again until the short attention spans of america wane thin again.

That ship was a refitted 70s era British tanker built for resupplying. It wasn't something to be proud of in the first place. It ain't a battleship or something.

Yeah, in any other Navy that thing would've been used for target practice long ago. Still, compared to the Somali pirate-tier speedboats that comprise the majority of the Iranian "Navy," that's still a major loss for them.

Puts into light Biden's sideswipe at Manchin and Sinema yesterday too, his handlers clearly realize the Dems are in lame duck territory now. Not sure the stick will work better than the carrot though; both senators are aware of their current power and won't be sacrificing that over ideological purity (as many progressives are screaming about right now).

Plus Manchin gives exactly zero fucks about powerplays. He's well-liked in his home state and has been considering a run for governor. The Democrats have no way to field a candidate against him as his only real opposition would be fairly unpozzed Republicans. The man has the easy ability to just not run again, making any pressure on him very, very different to leverage. If he were to give in, it'd hurt him hard in every way with no upside to him.

There was no good play here. Kamala is -supremely- unlikable. What is worse, she has a nervous tick where she laughs. The optics of her laughing on the border would have been -catastrophic-. So she can't visit or else disaster, but her not visiting is a disaster.
