You trash your computers and start over, lesson learned. The moment you pay up, you validate the tactic. Just like any other type of lying and cheating, you cannot give it an inch. Eat the cost of being stupid and selling your security and liberty for convenience. And don't make the same mistake again.
People love to talk about the government stepping in and doing something for your own good. Here is a great example. A responsible government would not allow vital domestic industries to pay ransoms. And if those companies do pay a ransom, garnish half of their revenue as punishment. This is unacceptable behavior.

As an aside, a new restaurant folded after about 6 months in my city downtown. It was a crab joint so I was kinda excited ngl. Curious to know why it went under so fast, I went to their FB page. Black owner, ofc calling racism. Went to our court lookup - yep, defaulted on the loans and sheeit. FB page was full of black reviewers, one of whom was a lovely hoodrat bragging about the thousands of dollars already spent there. It's so predictable.

They really don't though. A shitton of normies just turned off the television assuming Joe would fix everything and are "no longer into politics".
I lowkey hate how much my social circle is filled with people who are only politically engaged and outraged at the government's actions whenever the wrong party holds the executive branch, and then turn their brains off whenever the current president has a (D) after his name. Maybe it's due to limited exposure, but I really don't see that among right wing people IRL. Just lefties.

On the bright side, it's that very same brain switch that will ruin them in the midterms, at least holding that they aren't able to repeat the fraud again. It's well documented that Dems don't turn out as much for midterm elections, largely for the reason you described - as long as "the right guy" is in office their brain switches off and they retreat to the blissful ignorance that defines their existence. 2018 was an anomaly with how many Dems supposedly turned out for those midterms. If they aren't able to use their fraud tricks and Child Sniffer isn't able to get his Election Fraud Act passed before 2022, they're not only facing a newly weaponized-autism opponent that has seemingly begun to wake up and rally around trump for a change, they'll be facing it armed with a disinterested and apathetic bunch of retards.
They really shot themselves in the foot and then backed over it - they beat the ORANGE MAN BAD war drum so hard and so often that most non-committed normies, ie independents, are fully wanting to just get on with life, and they were so sure that they'd have a magic pass to ram through whatever they wanted, they never counted on people like Manchin and Sinema slowing things down.
If there is anything positive to take from all of this shit show it's that if we make it that long, 2022 should be a banner year for republican gains.

Had a few people I saw around at a hobby shop that used to complain about Trump and say Joe or Bernie would fix everything and give them better jobs and a better economy, and it's Trump's fault they could barely afford to do their hobby (it was a couple).
Ever since Biden got elected haven't seen them at the hobby shop anymore.

The Cathedral is going to lash out hard in the next few months before Christmas, which is why they're trying one more hard push to break the filibuster and do something with Trump for extra two minutes of hate. If the job numbers on Friday are disappointing again you're going to see another distraction, which is probably what the Iran stuff going on right now could be.
