Elliot Page, the Oscar-nominated star of “Juno” and Netflix’s “The Umbrella Academy,” has announced he is transgender.

Elliot, formerly known as Ellen Page, addressed his social media followers saying:

“Hi friends, I want to share with you that I am trans, my pronouns are he/they and my name is Elliot. I feel lucky to be writing this. To be here. To have arrived at this place in my life. I feel overwhelming gratitude for the incredible people who have supported me along this journey. I can’t begin to express how remarkable it feels to finally love who I am enough to pursue my authentic self. I’ve been endlessly inspired by so many in the trans community. Thank you for your courage, your generosity and ceaselessly working to make this world a more inclusive and compassionate place. I will offer whatever support I can and continue to strive for a more loving and equal society,” he wrote.

“I love that I am trans. And I love that I am queer. And the more I hold myself close and fully embrace who I am, the more I dream, the more my heart grows and the more I thrive. To all the trans people who deal with harassment, self-loathing, abuse, and the threat of violence every day: I see you, I love you, and I will do everything I can to change this world for the better,” Page continued.
Page uses both he/him and they/them pronouns, and describes himself as transgender and non-binary, meaning that his gender identity is neither man nor woman.
Nick Adams, GLAAD’s Director of Transgender Media, said “Elliot Page has given us fantastic characters on-screen, and has been an outspoken advocate for all LGBTQ people. He will now be an inspiration to countless trans and non-binary people. All transgender people deserve the chance to be ourselves and to be accepted for who we are. We celebrate the remarkable Elliot Page today.”
Page broke out from his native Canada in 2005 with the revenge thriller “Hard Candy.” Two years later, he starred in Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody’s landmark indie “Juno,” for which Page received an Academy Award nomination among other accolades.
HIs notable roles include Kitty Pryde in the “X-Men” series, Christopher Nolan’s “Inception,” “Whip It!” and Sony’s reboot of “Flatliners.” He has produced and starred in films such as “Tallulah” and “Freeheld,” and last year marked his directorial debut examining environmental racism faced by people of color and the First Nations communities of Canada.
Prior to transition, Page was one of the most visible out gay actors in Hollywood. The Tuesday announcement further enriches his legacy, and adds him to a small but growing number of out trans creators and stars in Hollywood. This includes performers (Laverne Cox, Trace Lysette, Brian Michael Smith) and creators (The Wachowski Sisters, “Transparent” creator Joey Soloway).
Last year, Variety broke the news of the groundbreaking overall content production deal that Netflix signed with Janet Mock, a noted trans storyteller and director of shows like “Pose” and “Hollywood.”

Here's a thing. She was an A-cup, at that size she didn't need the "tumblr-art" style masectomy. They could have done in keyhole. This implies she CHOSE to have the more invasive surgery for the aesthetics.

I've encountered one of these in the wild. I went to Stone Cold Creamery once because why not. The person at the register looked like a big fat bearded man. Granted, "he" had a few obvious feminine features but I chalked it up to "him" being a gay fat guy. Then "he" spoke and revealed herself to be a woman! She certainly had gone through the trouble of having her breasts removed and chugging enough ungodly amounts of testosterone to grow facial hair, but her voice was a dead give-away. This was a woman attempting to LARP as a man. She almost fooled me too. Not only that, but her mannerisms and other subtle behaviors were also feminine. No, I am not biologically a woman, and I identify as male. In my early twenties, being a weak ass never worked out in my life nerd, I did calorie restriction until my BMI was about 17.5. Despite never being able to do a single push up, or pull up, I had a six pack hiding under my body fat. I also, being a biological male, had testosterone. (btw, I am in my later thirty years and have a nice beer gut, no more calorie restricting that was a fad in my life)

Take a biological woman, starve her, and pump her with male hormones, and she looks pretty much like I did.

I just needed to see her sullen face to know she's starving herself. When you add in some male hormones, she's not much different than I was in my early twenties.

The abs *look* nice, which is part of why I did what I did. It's easy mode to looking like you're ripped-- except the rest of your body looks like a fucking skeleton and your face looks like a meth head.

Edit: I bet her twig thighs are like mine were, and I know she's got some serious thigh gap going on. Knees together and you could drive a truck through that gap. Hey, it was a weird time for me. Some people fixate on certain parts of their bodies and want them to look a certain way, and will neglect and harm themselves to achieve a certain look. I went through that. FtM has many more biological changes that can not be reversed. Once you introduce male hormones into a female body and it starts changing to be more masculine, you can not reverse those changes ever. Start growing facial hair as a woman? Hey, those hairs are there forever. I guess you might laser those off. But there are other changes that there is no going back from.

This is also why MtF is so unlikely to be passable unless they start early. This is why they trannies want to start transitioning kids before they start puberty. They wish they could have started before puberty-- much of the changes that occur at that time are not reversible. They know they can't go back in time themselves, so instead they focus on trooning out kids. They think they're helping them achieve the outcome that they wish they could have had for themselves. Really, they are just normalizing and spreading their illness on innocent kids that would be better served with proper mental health counseling.
