It wasn’t GRS, they had surgery for Hidradenitis suppurativa. She just sounds like a mentally ill loon that overreacted to the fresh wounds. Her surgeon either didn’t explain the procedure or aftercare properly or she didn’t pay attention and/or had her own expectations of how it would look.
It’s almost certainly not malpractice and will heal fine.
