Look at that hesitation before he does the actual injection. That's somebody who's learnt that injecting is painful and that it sucks. He won't keep this up for a life time. This person will keep the treatments up for a while and then slack off more and more because he hates doing them. And that's when things will get real fucking difficult for him health-wise.

I remember when I was a teen my family went on vacation to a river town in California and we kept on seeing flyers for an event called Bear Week that would be starting in the middle of our vacation. We joked about it being for the hairy gay men, but it turned out that that was exactly what it was.

Edit: I'm just thinking about if it was a trans week instead of a bear week. The bears were respectful, normal people that didn't make our family feel even remotely uncomfortable. If it wasn't for the flyers my siblings and I would have just wondered "why are there almost no women here?". If it was trans week... shudder. Maybe it wouldn't have been as bad since it was before 2015 when the tslurs really got bold with their creepiness, but it still would have been horrible.

To be fair, as an actual body-type they have a better claim to needing their own clothes than most of these sexual identities. And it is a pretty established as a sexual identity (or at least it was at some point). I remember when I was researching the sexuality flags learning that the bear flag was actually one of the originals.
