it's 'organic' to a certain degree
let me explain:

reddit staff is known for being very much pro tranny
reddit moderation team is known for being filled to the brim with tranny jannies
this creates a situation where "be nice to trannies, or else!" has become the law of reddit. part of it is unwritten law, part of it is openly stated in subreddit rules

so far this is all artificial and top down. but now we look at what effect such an environment has on the users?

first, those with anti tranny views either leave, get thrown out (banned) or keep their mouth shut on the issue. all have the same effect: expression of anti tranny views goes down a lot.

second, those with pro tranny views (trannies themselves and convinced leftists) are emboldened. they know that pro tranny views are officially supported and welcomed by the people who run the place. not only does this encourage more posting of pro tranny views, it also promotes these users aggressively attacking (both verbally and via downvote and report functions) any anti tranny post they might come across.

third, those with no strong opinion on the matter: they see that not a lot of anti tranny posts are made, so they assume anti tranny is a small minority position. they also see that anti tranny posts are frequently deleted and the posters banned, and they see that people dunking on anti tranny posters are encouraged. combined together this creates this view of the situation:
anti tranny = minority, powerless, outcast, criminalized, shunned
pro tranny = majority, powerful, accepted, promoted, encouraged
presented with that choice, near everyone will intuitively fall in line with the pro tranny line. this is organic, it's how people naturally act.

A quarter of that god forsaken site is probably directly on the trans pipeline, so it’s no surprise. Reddit just attracts the weak, mentally ill people who are likely to fall for that BS and grooms them. Even on Twitter you see moderate backlash, but there’s none on Reddit.

It’s pretty crazy, I’m not sure how it got that way. On a side note I’ve had to start dealing with a troon at work. It’s so painfully obvious they’re a dude and the Indian coworkers don’t buy the act at all lmao.

Troons really do bring people together. Nothing like seeing a chimp in a dress or a womanlet try to act like a fuckboy to help highlight why men and women are different and understanding why that is, and realizing that its mostly not a bad thing.

If there's one thing I'm grateful to troons for, it's making me realise I'm not actually a misogynist/racist/homophobe.

I might think certain feminists are dumb and annoying, but I've never wished harm upon them and they don't make me think less of women as a whole; sure I think it's funny when some black angel decides to test his i-frames against a cop, but it doesn't change how I feel or interact with any random non-white person I encounter; and there are absolutely individual gay people I despise, like that whiny little bitch Carlos Maza, but on the whole 99% of gay people I know are sound as fuck.

There's probably pro-tranny discords and subreddits that whenever they see something transphobic, they alert everyone, which leads to them mobbing the source.
Also keep in mind that transgenderism is a major part of the left now, to the point where its take or leave it "you either support troons or you're republican bigot". Being a TRA is essentially a requirement for having a reddit account now

Dude's also clearly never met a kid, because the usual child response to an adult providing a simplified question or glossing over something is "yeah but why?" Over and fucking over until they're satisfied, and they are good at sniffing out when adults are dodging around the topic. I have always speculated that troon discord’s would organize raids like shit is World of Warcraft. You’d just be minding your business while on the toilet, go check out a subreddit about bread making or some shit and be met with tranny selfie spam.

And the thing is, they start screeching when no one hasn’t been negative about troonism. The gore subreddit in question has a lot of troon surgery pictures, and people were just discussing SRS complications. It wasn’t until troons came wandering in accusing people of troonphobia did any hostility begin. Objectivity or even just being confused by troonism is always met with angry troons shitting up a thread.
