Pedophilia will never be a sexual orientation no matter how hard NAMBLA pushes for it. I’m pretty sure they are universally condemned by Pride when they try to insert themselves into the narrative. I don’t know any liberals that are actively pushing for pedophilia acceptance maybe the idea of offering people help who want treatment and counselling for it. I’ll tell you a weird thing I read about in Norway where a pedo was given a doll for treatment so he could have that instead of a child, I don’t know what to make of that honestly.

Edit: There was a resolution to that actually, these dolls as representations of children are illegal now. Probably a good thing, I don’t know if it would work as a deterrent or not it’s being studied.

My answer to your question is that simply put pedophilia is wrong for the obvious reason that children cannot consent. This drag Queen story hour thing is weird and cringe but I don’t see how it’s wide spread enough to be a problem. I think the drag kid thing is worrying for the child involved the amazing Desmond or whatever that is some screwball shit hanging around the guys who killed that guy back in the 90’s and pretending to snort drugs and strip. I don’t know what the parents are thinking they seem to me like clout chasers pushing for this in the guise that it should be regarded as progressive which it’s not.

For the most part this is what I think about with pride. Pushing for more sexualities and pluses is not revolutionary. When I see Chelsea Manning the whistle blower who came out as being trans while in prison I see that for her as a genuine struggle. She’s not choosing from a shopping cart of sexual identities. She is a trans woman who feels in her own skin being a woman. I don’t see the problem with that.
