Snowkarl is a long time troll cheerer. He has a lot of success triggering and baiting Phil. He was the one who rung the alarm with the anonyleaks and gave us the Jasper on the chair Danganrompa stream. Swagginz is the biggest current cuck, not by way of money but by sheer submission. He bought his way into modship, tried to become a part of the community even though ostensibly nobody liked him and Phil despises him. Most regulars hold their sneak disses while he's around because to this day, he's the hardest pigstapo component. He got chewed out and ridiculed by Phil for being a Sekiro fanboy, because according to Phil, the game's just bad. The Re2make streams were highly toxic in general but Phil also made a point of whipping his bitchboy extra hard on that one, in spite of him pulling a Papavera during it and cheering a GameFAQs guide. Swagginz took a hiatus from Phil, tried to suck up to the DDM crowd and become a restreamer, (Screenname: RawEggs, anagram for Swagger) didn't really hit it off, and crawled back to Phil.

As for the math, Phil is doing his usual routine of giving no concrete numbers on how much he needs, wants or expects. He needs to hit the goal every stream, not hitting it doesn't have any consequences other than extra begments, and overshooting it doesn't do anything either. The idea here is obviously to take the ball and run it as far as it can go. Phil is lowkey asking and pushing for DOUBLE his regular income. It's really fucking crazy if you think about it even on the slightest. He expects the paypigs to massively whale on Patreon, covering his "thousands of dollars" from bits and subs. This would be a "fair" thing to do and expect if you were a shameless scammer, but it gets worse: Phil literally expects to double dip and get what he used to make from subs... Twice. If anybody thinks he's gonna cool it with the begging after getting 2,5k on Patreon, they're dead wrong. Phil will push the Patreon as hard as he can, offering little to no returns, AND keep pushing for the double tips goal getting hit every stream.

Ever since the departnering, Phil has been making more money than before. He expects this to keep up, and his idea is to shill the Twitch boot as the ultimate crisis: It's endless, it's ongoing, every single day could be Phil's last on Twitch unless you, yes you, step the fuck up and give him your kid's college fund to spend on gacha. It's a little uncertain and it prompts a couple questions: Are Twitch cops are gonna be on the case, since he's not even a partner any more and he's clearly feigning as much distress as he ever has? Are his paypigs able to get a second mortgage on their houses so Phil can continue living like a king? Or will they finally hit their spending cap, and in doing so drag Phil to the troll grounds at youtube by his Polish plait, kicking and blubbering all the way?

More quick and dirty estimates:

Phil's expected outcome: 10400$ from tips. Let's add 2000$ that he'd like from Patreon, as it is the minimum that can be defined as "thousands". Of course, as the man himself would tell you, the cap is 50 dollars but you can pledge more! You can pledge as much as you like! 12400$. Divide that between 4 paypigs, Jaxx, Jakileez, Swagginz and OiC: 3100$ each. Sustainable in the long run? If they start selling organs, I guess. Supposedly OiC is a high flying tech dude, but I would assume the rest of them really don't have that kind of scratch to spend on Phil monthly. A lot of people have had extra disposable income this year due to stimulus checks. Jaxx even spent his tax return on whaling for Phil.

It's throwing money into a bottomless pit hoping it eventually fills out. The only surprising thing is how brazen and bold Phil has become in his turbobegging when it's clear as day he's WELL above just making ends meet. He must have ten or twelve fully whaled accounts on gacha, or a house filled with the most pointless of expensive shit. Or bolth.
It's important to add that on top of 400 a day and maybe 2000 on Patreons, he will beg when he has to buy is actual bills because he will not put any money aside.
So add maybe 3-4000 extra a month, pluss thaxes, thax gay, medical bill, Jhaspa etc etc.
Then add "big events" like his birthday week, thanksgiving, xmas, hardcore gaming season, probably some more that I can't remember.

So we are probably looking at around 15-16k a month he will try to squeeze out of his paypigs which brings us very close to 200k a year.

Hope you faggot whales are ready to give him that for the next 20 years.

Just tuned into DarkDave’s restream for a bit and watched Phil finish this boss on Nier Replicant. (Forgive me I’m not familiar with the Nier series) The game obviously went into an emotional cutscene after the fight, and it just made it more obvious to me that Phil feels just as awkward towards emotional scenes as he does with sexy scenes. He starts his “UHHHH...... UHHHH... OKAY” Beavis and Butthead routine and just makes awkward looks to the camera and chat. He’s dead inside, and the rot is seeping through the skin on his head.

I’m trying to think about what he gets emotionally invested in, and it’s honestly only his income, and “fooooood”. Just the things in life that bring him the most pleasure. He pretends that his “family” makes him happy too. But all he does is get excited about Kat’s Tuna Helper Meatball Bake Italian Turkey Grinder Salad, and all he does with “Jathper Kitty” is admonish him.
"This is shit," he says as the boss has an emotional reflection in her final moments that, even if you don't know what she's saying yet, is clearly meant to get you to question if killing Shades is right or not. No, Phil, YOU'RE shit. God, shit like this makes me MATI.

Phil is only emotionally invested in three things: his income, food, and WWE Champions.

Snowkarl is this guy.

He is a "troll" cheerer/paypig. He is one of the best I have ever seen when it comes to baiting Phil, but that comes at a cost. I don't know his end game, if he has one, I just assume that he watches Phil just to fuck with him but knows by constantly giving money to DSP, DSP will be more hesitant to ban him. It's a really thin line to tread.

If you give too much money, you end up being Swagginz or OIC. If you don't give not enough money, you get thrown to the curb like Major Riot. He's basically trying to force a situation on Phil that drives him mad: Ban this person that trolls and fucks with you everyday, or let him slide so he can continue giving money.

Greed tends to win with Phil.

It's stupid imo, I don't endorse it, and blah blah you get the point but that's what he's doing from my observations
The break is just part of the illusion that he has a work-life and a real job, this sack of shit doesn't care about "health".

Untrue. He also makes it very clear on a daily basis how much he despises his livelihood and how much he resents the minimal, digitized level of human contact he forces himself into.

If it makes it easier to swallow watching this troglodyte make the conscious decision to refuse to allow any kind of art or emotion to penetrate his shell of autism and feigned detachment, let that knowledge soothe you. Phil hates his life, and the neverending cycle of "beg -> spend -> dopamine hit -> repeat" that he has chosen for himself.

Good.

thus why i havent kept up with his nier replicant playthrough, because of shit like that. When he plays games, is like hes in autopilot, reach the end and fuck everything in between that requires effort, skill or understanding. Case in point Divinity 2. He never takes the time to understand the story or its mechanics, thus why he likes simple games like bugsnax or whatever the fuck its called.

I still don't think he's worked out that Patreon won't turn into anything successful for him.

Patreon will not capture money from twitch prime subs, gifted subs or cheers from people who don't want to get doxxed. I really hope he spends a lot of time trying to make this more attractive to his cuck audience so we can watch the slow meltdown because he doesn't understand the business model of his own business.

Obviously, he doesn't give a shit, should have seen him at the end of yesterday's(?) or so when he reached a turning point and all he wanted to do was clock the fuck out.

1) As far as emotional investment, I think DSP feels the need to not show any emotion and keep up that big strong macho Italian stereotype.

2) I don't think DSP gives a fuck about the plot of this game.

3) Since there will be no subsequent playthroughs I'm guessing, it's all lost to him.

I don't know how the remaster works, especially since they actually included a previously unfinished boss fight into the game, but in the original you had to replay the entire second half every time you wanted a different ending. Also in the original, there were four different endings, including my favorite Ending D which literally erased all of your saved files as symbolism because you were choosing to erase Nier from existence.

I was wondering when Phil was going to talk nonsense about a topic I feel strongly about and here it fucking is.

I can be a bit of an absolute fucking spergtard about procgen. Beside fun gameplay, good procgen how you build quality replay value in your roguelikes/lites. People who know what the fuck they're doing when building procgen routines plan their shit out and meticulously build it so the randomness still adheres to rules to ensure the game itself isn't broken by the RNG. Shitty procgen will destroy a game's progression, or its possibility to be played to begin with.

When you rev up the randomizer on Resident Evil, the locations of the keys are going to be different but they're always going to be set in a manner that you won't have purely inaccessible areas the entire run. Good randomness. In Hades, you have the Daedalus Hammer upgrades that tend to give you the most powerful buffs to your weapon, and despite its appearance being random to an extent, it is guaranteed to only appear twice in a run: once in the first quarter of the game, and again in the third quarter of the game, allowing for good progression and not complete game-breaking overpowering with its limited to twice per run appearances. Good procgen.

If you want an example of bad randomness, try tuning into one of Phil's streams. The result of your reaction from him is truly random, no thought put into it, and irrespective of how much you whale out. Whether it's a dollar or a thousand, you're getting: an insincere thanks, a "nuh-huh.", an "I don't know what you're talking about.", no reaction at all, or just blatantly insulted to your fucking face.

To cap my sperg-out, I'd like to earn some hats by saying just how much I want to deck Phil in his fat fucking face when a goddamn gacha addict tries to tell a procgen enthusiast that randomness is always bad in game design. Have another drink on me, Phil, you'll enjoy it and I'll enjoy knowing you're continuing to accelerate your premature brain death.
This is gonna be one of those playthroughs where he's clearly itching for reasons to shit on the game from the very beginning, just like when he was complaining about random nonsense 5 minutes into Cyberpunk and Divinity

he despises his livelihood
It's worse than that IMO. He despises HAVING TO HAVE a livelihood. You think he enjoyed any of his 9-5s, or ever had aspirations of a job he would like? I'll bet such a career doesn't even exist. I'll bet there is no occupation he wouldn't think is a curse. It sure as fuck isn't the one he has now, yet he still prefers it, probably entirely because it means he can avoid being around people since they (for good reason) almost never like him. He hates socializing so much that he'll put up with the worst job he has ever had.
I still don't think he's worked out that Patreon won't turn into anything successful for him.
He's not going to, until it's too late.
and all he does with “Jathper Kitty” is admonish him.
Out of all the things he says on a regular, "Jasper Kitty" is probably the one that makes me cringe the hardest. It makes me feel like I'm looking at literally a child that got transported into an old man's body one day and he's very confused.

More like HONEST emotion. Even when he's being a pissy little bitch, I feel like he's holding back, and lets loose after the stream is over. I'll bet we've never gotten close to what he's like off camera. Just look at much worse the rocking and posing gets when he thinks we can't see him. You really think it stops there? His lies don't.

I actually do think he'll do subsequent playthroughs, unfortunately. One of the selling points of his Automata re-run last year was that he unpersoned PandaLee played all five of the game's (non-joke) endings as opposed to only doing the first ending back in 2017. I feel like he'll lose patience after Ending B because Automata has a chapter select while this one doesn't, so he'll slog through Endings C, D, and the new E even if he'll hate every second of it..

of course the thin skinned narcissistic pigroachs no.1 concern is that the evil trolls would take away playtime from his fans which we all know he loves and values so much.

"I will think about it" aka "I will never do it"
He's terrified of any interaction with anyone. Even his Apex streams with kekon and brian he hated doing because they were more entertaining than him, and he simply doesn't know how to speak properly. Any one of his patrons could be an undercover troll just waiting to HURT him.

He is so fucking afraid of somebody able to speak back to him and call him out on his bullshit, that's the real reason he avoids multiplayer like the plague.

The few instances where he's encountered somebody with a live mic is pathetic. He panics, just keeps doing his loud nervous laugh, and fumbles to get the fuck out of there ASAP.

Phil won't admit it and constructs insane half hour prestream rants to conceal it, but I think he's just super pissed that he's basically forced to play Returnal because it's a PS5 excusive and probably didn't realize it was a roguelike until recently. Phil is a baby about dying in video games and he absolutely hates replaying content. If Phil dies in a video game and has to redo a portion of a stage he sees it as the game quite literally stealing his time and progress away from him. The very concept of rougelike progression in a video game offends his sensibilities.

I would donate up to .000000000000000000002 BTC for him to do a 24-hour Nethack marathon.

But...but hes a real gamer, hell he can pick up a controller at any time and play games at a professional level!
youre just a mentally-ill detractor who wants to hurt him *Angry snort*

Also, it's pretty hard to use a walkthrough/get handheld by your speds when randomly generated content is concerned. And he can't bash his head against a wall until it breaks if the wall's different every time. Gonna be a saltmine
