It's really not just a Phil thing it's pretty much Twitch's business statement. As far as I know no other streamer's money is tracked as closely as Phil's but if you were to follow a Ninja or any streamer deemed a success odds are good they have whales spending as much if not more then Phil's. Some argue others earn the money unlike Phil but like yourself people being able to make any money, much less a full time living, just from playing a videogame baffles me.
