Phil has used this to talk about how he is an alpha who stands up to these managers who don't want constructive feedback. They needed to listen to suggestions, and try to make the problems of those below them better. God forbid that they have to do some work. And they hate that Phil calls them out. He was called a 'problem person' but he isn't a problem person, it's just that managers don't want to have to do hard work.

Phil admits it's the same story at Wells and Best Buy, but it wasn't true of the helicopter company, they were just going under. Note that he can't say this here, because it would probably require him to bash his own dad. That said, he has insulted their management for using him in the past, but that doesn't get mentioned here.

EDIT: In responding to a question about why Phil doesn't open a business (lul), Phil launched into his victim narrative about his hard life and setbacks, etc. We know he makes over $100k annually, so he's dying in a gutter.
Anyway, Phil stated that he had to pay $10k in back taxes, and $10k to a lawyer to 'fix his tax situation'. Is this not new lore?

Is he really trying to claim that Sikorsky, owned by Lockheed Martin and gets government contracts, was going out of business?

EDIT: Phil knew when Biden got elected, his taxes would go up. Even though Biden said 'people in his income bracket' would not see a tax raise.
Phil's political stance is that the Republicans won't help you, but the Democrats won't help you and are likely to hurt you.

On a serious note, I wouldn't read too much into this because 1) Phil was probably drunk, and 2) this is the same guy who argued with people on that same platform on his wedding night. Twitter is the closest he'll ever get to having a safe haven where people know who he is because they don't know absolutely everything, and he can block people. If he didn't have gacha, he would be on there a lot more often, and we would see a lot more weirdness.

They only reason he doesn't tell non-paypigs to fuck off is because they have the potential to shill out for him in the future if he begs hard enough.

He also doesn't want to be faced with the reality of how many people would vote "Not going to pledge", because not only is he a spoiled shithead who can't take the truth, but he's unfathomably hypocritical, and the concept of "Not under any circumstances" is something he expects everybody to tolerate from him, but never the other way around.

I remember I used to picture him sitting down at the kitchen table late into the night, glasses (complete with the neck chain) on, individually writing checks for each bill, then hand-addressing envelopes and appropriately stamping each one, a hand written accounting spreadsheet in front of him, tracking each expense. I think he saw his parents doing this at some point in the 90s and assumes this is how everyone sees it or something, not realizing that everyone has switched to online payments. Like he must have.

It's also a problem with how badly he has exposed his timelines for paying bills. It's the 28th. Phil has established, by way of begging, that his internet, condo dues, and mortgage payment are likely all due somewhere in the first 15 days of the month. That leaves maybe 5 other bills that need to be paid in the latter half of the month. Even if he could only pay one single bill each night, that still leaves him 10 bill-free nights in the second half of each month. He isn't doing some weird juggling of his credit card bills and debts anymore, so his bills can't even take him as long as they used to. He has no options except to just pay them outright.

I really don't think he realizes how batshit insane he looks when he screams about paying bills every single day.

As of 4/20 stream, his claimed upcoming bills were:

- Quarterly State tax
- Monthly IRS payment
- Electric / gas
- Water
- Phone
- Health Insurance

phils income is in the realm of 120k a year. since he's married, he can file jointly with his wife and pay less because it would put them in a lower bracket, right? or am i missing something? theoretically phil probably isn't paying all that much, or wouldn't need to if he paid it all on time without extra interest and fees.

I fucking love how obviously damaging and otherwise unhelpful this poll is for Phil. He's deluding himself, and at best, a whale that is just that dumb. He's creating inaccurate data for his Super Serial Adult Business that he needs to calibrate for his future. Even if that $423 a month goes up over time, it still isn't ever going to match $2250. No fucking way, not with things being the way they are now. Don't know the reason, but people are holding out on Phil, and it doesn't look like that's temporary.

I have yet to see a single explanation or acknowledgement of the fact that there's a 20 USD / month Patreon reward of getting priority attention during the monthly Ask the Kahng, but anyone on any stream can ask him anything for free and draw his ire or desire to navel-gaze into a 45 minute long segment.

DSP the consummate businessman offers the same service for 20 dollars a month that he also offers for free, and then is really confused that no one is paying 20 dollars a month.

EDIT: Also his last post on Patreon was over three years ago. Doesn't he know that the criteria for having supporters on Patreon is actually being held to your promises to deliver?

As a stupid aside due to playing Nier Replicant right now, I honestly have zero issues with how Kaine is portrayed or how she fits into the narrative. Her condition is never shoved into the spotlight and she remains a person first, not a cudgel to beat progressive politics or trans acceptance into the player. She is judged based on her character alone, and that is why she is memorable. In spite of her trauma and scorn she remains at heart, a good person.

Of course this will fly right over piggys head.

Based Yoko Taro actually writing characters as people first, with their sexuality being a footnote in the larger story.

According to my comment section, having people pay to play with you is violation of Youtube ToS. I haven't seen anything like that, but very recently Dale did remove the option of getting perks like that through superchat and you have to do this backdoor ghetto shit way to do it. So it seems a bit like speculation but the timing leads me to believe there is some sort of truth to it.

It'd be funny if Phil were to do it because he hates his fans and people would report him out the ass lmao
