In a Corpse among us stream Sapnap was asked by the group to wake up Dream. He goes into the living room and find Dream’s mom, who he then asks to wake him up. This could be an indication that they do in fact live with her, or further strengthen the theory that she is very close by. Either way if she was only close by then it would be odd for Clay’s mom to be relaxing in his living room while he sleeps.

We have a new development regarding the phone number thing. I'm aware it's a bit OT, but hopefully this'll cleanse some of the bland bullshit that's been posted in these past few hours.
Apparently, our beloved Clayton has alreadygotten defensive over addressed some of the creepiness of his new community phone number. The way he did it was in classic Clayton fashion, as he decided to do this by directly replying to a small Twitter account (archive) (OP's account is private now, pretty obvious as to why that is). Notice how he does this in a reply to a small account when he could've quote-retweeted or something. Not saying he's some manipulative mastermind, but this is definitely, for lack of a better word, manipulative IMO, as replies are more likely to not show up on a follower's timeline. But this could also just be me reading into it a bit too far. Whatever.
Interestingly enough, he decided to, instead of assuring his audience in any way, mock people complaining (???). He ended up deleting this, so all we have is a shitty screenshot from this Twitter thread (archive) Twitter and an archive of the tweet.

The replies from the second one were fucking hilarious, it was full of sad little stans using his tweet as a copypasta as if they aren't balls deep in their own parasocial relationships with him. You'd think they expect him to suck their dick or something, the way they defend the dude.

It's entertaining to see so many people at once so deep in denial that they turn a warning of how critical their own situation is into a copypasta that just ends up mocking THEM instead.
Such a sad state of affairs and it really is all Dream's fault. Say what you will about intent and shit but it is undeniable that the situation with his stans, the general toxicity of his community and the SUPREMELY TERRIBLE content said community has created would have all been drastically less extreme or even tame if he even just kept his stupid little smiley face mouth shut.
But no. He has a voice and he's damn well gonna use it to protect his community, how could he not?

While we're on the subject of Dream's stans and parasocial relationships I wanted to bring this up. Dream is the primary example for why JTF is 100% correct about YouTubers not being your friend. In this case it's worse because he's actually feeding into the parasocial relationship which in my opinion is pretty unethical and it makes things worse in the long run.

Shit like this is the reason why I think he was never suited to have the fanbase that he does. He's arrogant to a fault, feels a need to get defensive over anything and everything, and is unable to set boundaries with fans, and I know this really does go without saying, but he's essentially shot himself in the foot. He doesn't have the personality for such a large fanbase and has traded all sincerity and humor for having a large fanbase. He clearly didn't understand how much of a beast stan Twitter could be, and has totally set himself up for any bullshit to come. This was discussed earlier in the thread but he's lost all sense of sincerity that he once had. I hate to bitch on, but I used to really enjoy his content back when it was him and his friends clearly having fun messing around with fun challenges. It's just manufactured bullshit now and he's just gotten unbearably annoying as a person.
Don't wanna sound like one of those conspiracy fags, but I have a feeling a lot of this is going to all come to a head soon, but who knows. If it does, we'll all know he brought it upon himself and it'll be hilarious to watch. Once dsmp drops from popularity, it'll be interesting to see who survives. I have a feeling the Dream Team won't, but people like Techno, Quackity, and Ranboo probably will, as they don't rely too heavily on Dream for their current fame. It'll be interesting to watch nonetheless.

I'd assume most people would be more or less fine, except the ones who are purely Dream's friends, like George or Sapnap. The only reason they're known is because they're Dream's friends, while the rest at least came from somewhere else, if not are still affiliated with their roots, I've looked at them more as guests.
It's like with SkyDoesMinecraft back in the day, there were lots of people he played with, and his fans went and subscribed to all of them and watched their videos, purely because of their association with him, and eventually their channels just died, while Sky at least maintained some relevancy, because no one went to them for them in the first place. The only person I think whose channel didn't die and actually even surpassed Sky is SSundee, but he totally changed his content to be some kind of hyper little kid YouTuber and just attracted a new audience, while George and Sapnap are purely leeching off of the Dream fanbase and do virtually nothing.

I don't know if he was stupid enough to actually think this would work or if he was so arrogant as to think that he was different than all the others and the fans would love him forever if he just kept being a yes-man, but goddamn he should've seen this coming from mile anyway. A lot of them seem to be putting safety nets in place. People like TommyInnit and Ranboo are streaming on Tommy's personal server now (which notably has 0 members of the Dream Team whitelisted), and some are transitioning to variety streaming and trying to build a personalized audience. I think they're anticipating that Dream is going to try and drag them down with him- you could see this with CallMeCarson too when his friends mysteriously started becoming distant before the allegations came out.

There has been some major drama and infighting going on in the fandom throughout yesterday and today involving Technoblade. I've only passively been following it so forgive me if I am missing stuff but from my understanding this is what has been going on:

Stans were becoming increasingly agitated that Techno had not addressed the call out post that was made against him last week when a bunch of them (specifically sbi) were getting cancelled. (archive). This then lead to them getting # kickdave trending (Dave being Technoblade's name). This obviously divided many stans as using Techno's real name is a big no no. But some stans were adamant that he needed to address his edgy jokes so then they decided to take it upon themselves to form Coraltwt which is apparently just SBI without Techno (so Wilbur, Tommy, and Philza). This then further divided stans.
