I do feel like having hyper-expressive models would ruin it. It would be an uncanny valley type of thing. What I want is just better mouth tracking to avoid when you see the girls with their mouths closed or stuck in a permanent smile even though they are reading a paragraph.

Amelia is currently doing the part of Mario Sunshine where you drag the Yoshi across the bay on the ships to unlock the bonus map in the pipe. The only way to describe it has been "Mind Break". She was already super angry TRYING to get it there, but then MANAGED to successfully get Yoshi there, and somehow got Yoshi stuck on the pipe before clearing the obstacle with the juice. Yoshi timed out and disappeared. Pure sufferkino.

Her Sunshine and DKC playthroughs have been pretty painful to watch from a gameplay standpoint. Hell, she even had a rage episode in her Oblivion stream earlier where she spent 10 minutes trying to pick a lock.
I was actually wondering why it felt a bit "old" just watching her streams lately and realized she's been playing a variation of an old Mario/DK platforming game for over 2 months now along with Oblivion, with the odd game pick here and there (other than APEX). Think she just needs to move on from these games soon. Maybe pick up Nier again or some other different game variation.

Haachama has had basically the whole community enraptured with her #COEXIST story which, despite clearly not being planned out, has essentially made her to Hololive what Evangelion is to the anime Mech genre.
The western boom is starting to simmer, so everyone's numbers are probably on a healthy decline. EN has debuted and snatched a hefty chunk of the EN fanbase, and much like Nijisanji, the more talents you employ, the thinner spread the spoils go.

It's 100% true that she raised her expectations high and couldn't deliver on them. She admitted so herself. Being the opposite of a good planner, she started without an end in mind, I would say the whole rule fiasco was almost a saving grace by giving her an excuse to cut it short.
That being said, while it's a gross exaggeration to say she captured the whole community's attention, she certainly had a great amount. At the start she had maybe 30 seconds to a minute of fanmade content, by the final stream it was 24 minutes. Nearly everyone was aware of the story arc, even the other talents. At its peak she was practically flooding the Hololive reddit with fanart and memes, as well as briefly outpacing Gura's sub growth.
I don't think it really affected Coco however. Coco's main issue is still the bugs, unfortunately for a lot of people chatting is important to the whole livestream experience. As a result she has a "poor" sub count, still over a million mind you. Her loyal fans are likely disproportionately large for her subscriber count, but I could foresee the algorithm giving her trouble for having lower views and subs.
Fun Haachama facts: She's been talking to herself since at least July last year, and did the prerecorded video trick (sometimes credited to Polka) on her 2020 birthday stream. If you weren't aware of these methods before her story arc, and you are now, chances are it worked perfectly.

I half agree with that. The content was drawn out but it was also really unique to Hololive which got her a large following. Nobody else has done the kind of shit she has. Plus you know the masses, they lap this stuff up while "figuring out" lore.
On another note, Delutaya dyed her hair purple and posted this cute little video on twitter (which is only the second time she's posted anything of her real self, first being that 1/4th of her face in 2018. ) Although her face isn't shown here, she's clearly getting back her confidence to be able to even post something like this.

Whether you liked it or not is immaterial and down to personal tastes.
The facts are, though, that for its flaws and issues, it was a spark of creativity that propelled her sub growth past literally the fastest-growing V-Tuber in the industry, had people who aren't even Haachama fans gravitating towards her streams just to be a part of the confusion, and presented a long-running storyline in a way I don't think any other member of Hololive is ballsy enough to try - as doing so inherently crushes the concept of being an 'Idol', which to many of them is enough to not even collaborate with any V-Tuber possessing a penis out of fears their image will be shattered and backlash will be felt.
Her streams were pulling in BIG numbers, akin to collabs or events; and even if she wasn't happy with how it turned out or whatever, it's without doubt that she had an idea and went ahead with it regardless of how it may be received.

That or she just really like Gengar and wanted to be the same color.
EDIT: On a side not, I wish I could join her fanbox but unfortunately I'm a poorfag and like everything chuuba related, I can't justify the small cost (because once you start at one, you say what's one more.. next thing you know you've got memberships totalling your monthly phone bill or suupachats that could've paid rent. It's a damn slippery slope for me)
