I feel like the prosecution is landing some good punches here, but the prosecution's questioning is not building a narrative for me.

Like is the jury really taking notes on all this? Like this time next week they're going to be in deliberations and someone will whip out a notepad and refer to his notes on what this guy said?

I feel like Nelson should be objecting to a lot of this but I Trust The Plan. WWG1WGA

Now watch as Nelson comes back and straightens this all out. The witness didn't have to defend his comments or answers because he knows Nelson will do it for him.

Witness is truly a professional.

Can Nelson save it?

Nelson lets the witness describe the clips shown as "picking and choosing." The prosecution objects saying that Nelson was leading the witness and it was sustained. However, this leads into the psychological effect that I'm sure griftees of Rekieta have had explained to them multiple times:

The objection doesn't matter. It's already in the mind of the jurors. They now have the idea of cherry picking planted in their mind from what the prosecution showed.

Twice in a row. Evens out.

Another "leading" objection by the prosecution overruled, judge is getting audibly annoyed

lol

Edit: Nelson is bringing up traffic in the area in relation to "situational awareness" and other shite we're having to wade thru. Another objection for "beyond the scope" by the prosecution overruled

lol

Nelson brought it back by showing clips from when the ambulance arrive and when asked, the witness affirmed that knee was not on the neck from two different angles.

Nelson: Does that show the problem with snippets?
Brodd (Witness): *nod* They don't show the full picture.

TESTIMONY: SALVAGED

i went to the gym and apparently missed the btfo-ing that reddit was telling me was happening all along. anything substantial or can i go back to optimistically shitposting
Bad inning for the defense. Pros-cross made it look like the witness didn't watch the footage, and it seemed like Chauvin was on Floyd longer than was necessary.
