The nice new ones especially look like nerf guns.

Tasers get more cartoony with every generation, so you can tell who has the best gear on sight. Even the taser on ladycop's coworker's belt is outdated.
This whole situation got me thinking about Officer Keung's Taser last night.

Looks an awful lot like a 9mm, doesn't it? Well, that's because back in the 90's one Officer Tang duct taped a stunner to glock handle and called it a day.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=-A_CHWANKmMGeorge Floyd's panic started when he saw that chintzy knock-off Taser. I wonder if any of this would have happened if MPD had enough money to keep their officers' gear up-to-date?
That’s a Sig not a Glock.

I'm so confused on what you're trying to say. Are you saying this picture is showing the cop pointing a taser? Because you're remarkably wrong if you are.

Holy shit, I've followed the Floyd thing since it kicked off and this is the first time I've seen someone call that a Taser. I thought it was pretty excessive to come at Floyd guns blazing from the get-go but that's actually a Taser? Seems like a pretty stupid design choice to model a Taser to look exactly like a Glock. It even looks like it has an ejection port, it's so convincing. No wonder he started freaking out the second he saw that thing.

ETA: I keep looking at it, but the thing even has sights. I'm beginning to think that it's in fact a gun and not a Taser.

I've been so used to the prosecution's 4-hour witness testimonies that I'm starting to miss them compared to Nelson's 5-20 minute questionings. But at the same time I'm at least not getting drowsy.

The prosecution asserted something so it's been "debunked" (too much snopes for this true believer). Not how even science works, this idiot would have been one of those shouting at Galileo that a heliocentric solar system had already been debunked.
MATI but it winds me up so much. "This one guy is an expert, he must be correct!"
>Defence gets a different expert to state the opposite
"Where do they find these experts lmao fake news"

I'm fine with retards existing but I wish they wouldn't shit up the place with their takes

Its a Sig P320

"thoroughly debunked" bro I'm so confused... these people can get around in life with these types of critical thinking skills?

Whether he was experiencing excited delirium or not, I think anyone can pin a couple of those 'symptoms' to Floyd. Or even have a basic understanding that people on drugs can become difficult to subdue people. The prosecution's witness saying he didn't exhibit any of the symptoms made me not give him much credibility at all. If I was a juror I would feel like that guy thought I was an idiot.

Yeah, that's a gun. It has a slide on it, which tasers don't have a reason to have.

It's a fucking pistol. Whoever started this rumor deserves the rope. I don't know of any taser that has a fucking blowback slide and ejection port, do you?

Edit: As others have said, it's a P320.

Redditors rely entirely on appeals to authority. If they were running the prosecution, they'd probably have Anthony Fauci or Neil DeGrasse Tyson as expert witnesses.

Rate me late, but when I first heard about this I figured it was another nothingburger and didn’t care to find the footage. But now that I see it...the term “negligent homocide” comes to mind. Aren’t Tasers yellow specifically to avoid this shit?
you could have the pistol and tazer screech " this is a pistol!" "this is a tazer!" and it wouldnt matter. if you dont train unholstering, your brain goes to shit in high stress, high adrenaline situations.
