This isn't that surprising. Years ago when use to read donations after stream, there'd always be one about how Jerma 'gave me the self confidence to become trans' and Jerma would awkwardly say something like "oh, well as long as your being yourself and I hope you do whats best for you".

Reminds me of one stream where I saw Vinny (Vinesauce) reading messages that popped up in Twitch chat in a game he was playing, the characters would all randomly choose a message from Twitch chat to display. He was reading all of them out loud but came across one that said "Trans rights! <3" He stared at it for a few seconds, didn't read it aloud, and moved on quickly to the next one. That caught me off-guard.
That’s not what trans people are confused about. It’s actually quite common for them to assert that wearing dresses has nowt to do with gender. They also do the same with pronouns, hance the idea that "pronouns do not equal gender" being repeated like a mantra.
They want gender to mean nothing and therefore everything.
While they do believe that skirts are not inherently gendered, they also want you to agree that any person who considers their choices of clothing to be feminine, is automatically correct in that assertion - even when their opinions about what is and is not feminine contradict someone else's. Other people don't matter - everyone gets to be right about what their own clothes mean.
Hence, to trans activists, a woman is super-feminine is she considers her dress, her boobs, her handbag, her name, and her penis to be feminine features. At the exact same time, a man is super-masculine if he considers his dress, his boobs, his handbag, his name and his penis to be masculine features.
Everyone is a god of their own little postmodernist bubble in which everything they say or do is valid.
And yet... nobody gives a single shit about all these customized identities they have except themselves. Even in their own little circles I doubt they give each other's identities much thought, other than to not 'misgender' each other. None of this shit means anything.
Troons annoy me to no end but they are just mentally ill people. The real villain in this is is the medical community who has convinced society that it is a-okay to exploit mentally ill people for their own gain because they are supposedly "helping" them. Just like they "helped" all those schizophrenics in the past. These days, they can no longer do it to schizophrenics and manic-depressives, so they found another group of people to exploit. A group that has the advantage (for the medical community) that their self-image is non-existant/instable so they are not even realizing they are being exploited.
Just a few decades ago society showed the same kind of outrage towards Robert Whitaker and other people who dared criticize the medical community for their treatment of schizophrenics and manic depressives.
The tune is the same, merely the dance moves changed a bit.

It's "funny" to observe how troons contradict themselves within the confines of their insane genderist ideology. If "female" is simply a state of being defined by "feeling" then shouldn't the concept of "passing" be rendered moot anyway? If one "becomes" female simply by identifying as female, then why the emphasis on appearing as a facsimile of a stereotypical "hot" woman? So much for gender liberation!
And on another note, and to speak more broadly (and politically), I'm additionally amused to see how the type of "anarchism" practiced by these troons always circles back around to anarcho-tyranny. "You will accept my perfect utopia..... or I'll force you!" Imagine living in a world where these clowns gained absolute power -- I'd surely be relocated to whatever my country's equivalent to a rice paddy is.
