One major thing that disturbs me about all this is that certain demographics attacking other demographics only matters if it fits an agenda. To the media's defense, the reason this story is gaining traction because of the scale of the attack. Not ONE Asian, but five or six, two attacks one after the other.So apparently some guy went and shot up a message parlor or something, and to fit the stereotype of message parlors, most of the victims (6-8 as of posting) were Asian.
This time, the MSM and social media are actually talking about Asian discrimination and targeted attacks.
Why?
That's why.
Ladies and gentlemen; your latest scapegoat for this Asian assault train.
Who cares how many joggers were attacking and/or killing old Asian farts, the MSM finally has a way to spin the narrative about it all being a White supremacy issue targeting Asians due to Covid, and yes, they're blaming Trump for it.
Having said that, anti-Asian violence has been on the rise lately, but the prior attacks feel "isolated" because it's just ONE. Asians are being targeted because of their race, yet several stories before that were largely ignored. If I was Asian, I'd feel offended. That my life wouldn't matter unless it's somebody ELSE doing the killing.
I'm outraged because NOW people are concerned about Asians despite previous attacks. A hate crime is a hate crime based on race.

Well, they true equality is hating everyone and treating everyone like shit.
I'd say there's a way to go before we have true prison yard. A true prison yard would have the races split themselves up without any outside forces, and a resentment to go after other races without caring what others think...especially the media. I don't think we're at that level yet. I don't even think we're at the levels of Roof Koreans making a comeback yet.
I feel like there's a time coming when some group will call out this kind of unfair dynamic of the struggle and not care about the PR storm that comes with it, even if it's a long ways away.

Asian Americans are so fucking cucked. I feel for the suckers who come to U.S. legally for the promise of opportunity and a better future for their children. The reality couldn't be farther from the truth. Being taught to hate themselves, their culture, everything that you are and done for them, constantly putting themselves down in order for a certain group people to succeed, until it's convenient to make yourself the victim.
Yeah basically. Moreno can be used both ways, both black or brown, typically the latter. In the presence of black people it's the polite way to refer to them. Like @Oglooger said, saying negro will set them off.
