A wonder if we're going to see more CHAZ antics soon. Soon, we could see the city sink into neighborhood warfare/turf wars in regards to the zones. When the only thing that can stop this shit is a march to the mayor's house, you know things are going to get spicy. And ugly.
They're doing it in Minneapolis right now, and more "effectively" than they did in Seattle.

Their "autonomous zone" isn't letting anyone in at all who isn't "approved" by the militants in control and they're outright threatening people who aren't approved and who come too close or try to get in.

The state police couldn't tie Walker's gun to the bullet that hit the officer.
That seems fishy tbh; I mean- who shot the officer then?
Again according 1 of 14 witnesses; The other 13 claim the police didn't knock.
From what I saw, the raid was in an hour when most people were asleep, the person who was close to the door said the police identified themselves. The defence wants to claim that additional witnesses did not verify this, but it also wasn't a key point brought up in the court process.

Its also somewhat besides the point as well- they did have a no knock warrant: What their version of events holds is that, even with the warrant, they went above and beyond and even knocked when they didn't have to. If someone argues that they didn't knock and simply busted in, it just defaults to the no knock warrant. Within the transcripts and official police report- It appears that they believed that Taylor's apartment was going to be a low risk target, and that was why they supposedly went with the decision to knock anyways. The court did find that what they did here was reasonable enough
The office who was shot claimed he had cleared two rooms before coming under fire. In the later version he claimed he was shot as soon as he opened the door.
I'm not sure where he claimed to have cleared two rooms before coming under fire. From the transcripts, it appears as if he was shot pretty soon after the door was opened and bullet trajectory into the area suggests this as well.

Hm. All that's left is for someone to try and exert power like what happened in CHAZ....though that may take a while since people like to see these zones as some kind of utopic block party.

Didn't the Mafia and/or Yakuza start out as a militant group who were functioning like the "police" ?

The state police report couldn't attribute it to any specific gun due to the condition of the bullet after it hit the floor.

The problem is the state AG told the grand jury that Walker fired the round when their own investigators couldn't prove that statement.

There's always been speculation that Hankison fired the round that hit the officer. In his termination letter it notes that he was firing in three different directions. The LMPD also went bat shit crazy when it was pointed out that Hankison was issued a 9mm according to their own records because they initially dismissed this theory and claimed all the officers had .40

Again I'm not saying Walker couldn't have fired the round that hit the officer, but the State Police absolutely could not prove that and stated as much.

The entire 'court process' was the AG presenting his version to the grand jury, he picks and chooses what evidence to provide them.

Meanwhile there has been a troubling wave of anti-Asian hate crimes in the Seattle area (try to find the race of the attacker, it's like playing Where's Waldo. No prizes for guessing!) Could anti-Chinese xenophobia, fanned by Trump's racist comments about COVID-19, be to blame for the rise in crime?

King County Deputy Prosecutor Leandra Craft said anti-Asian hate crimes have increased during the COVID-19 pandemic following former President Donald Trump's comments on the coronavirus being a "China virus," per the News Tribune.

"Based on the negative thoughts that Asian Americans are more likely the reason, the inaccurate thoughts that Asian Americans are the reason why COVID is spreading," Craft said.

A volunteer with the Chinatown-International District Community Watch group, Tanya Woo, told KOMO-TV that "we still have a lot of work to do.”

Good luck, Seattle. You deserve it.

"American hip-hop artist." :story: another aspiring artist slain in the street. Thanks, Google!

Ninja'd. And yep, it's true. Apparently, the "largest civil rights settlement in history."

Do THEY get any money? Or just a blur on national news? Goddamn, the world is unfair.

Any bets on how long it'll take them to squander it?

Like most lottery winners it'll likely all be gone in a couple years. That or they OD.

Clown world: being a career criminal and drug addict who died after eating an entire bag of fentanyl while committing another crime and fighting cops, and everyone's taxes go up to pay your family's white guilt gibs.

The latest ghetto lottery winners. The city government should all be run out on a rail for just giving away tax-payer dollars but it's not their money so whatever I guess. A successful defense would cost a fraction, but then they'd not be able to virtue signal and help railroad an innocent officer.
Hasn't Minneapolis been revealed to be the people perfectly fine with a payout like that?

I'd really love to see how much of the gofundme millions is wasted already.
That was for funeral expenses, last I remember. Even though somebody else comped the funeral costs and then some. So make that ~$28.5 million.

Edit: okay, there are TWO GoFundMes made by the Floyd family.

Yep, confirmed. $13.7 million as of June 2020.

Floyd died in Minneapolis, but the family is originally from Houston. Philonise Floyd was hoping to raise $1.5 million to pay for the family's considerable legal and travel expenses as well as to help support and educate Floyd's children. Philonise Floyd says that 100% of the money collected will go to the family and that the GoFundMe is being managed by the family's law firm.

$40.7 million raised to the Floyd family since May 2020.

Ostatnio edytowane:
Yeah yeah yeah, this is why they can't get a good jury, because its always spergs who go "Chauvin dindu nuffin wrong" or spergs who go "Floyd dundu nuffin wrong".

Props on the "people who never fought" thing though, thats an amusing thing to bring up here lol

chokeholds and knees on necks work well in fights. something obvious if youve been in one

Ghetto lottery.

Says something to me that this kind of shit makes people like Floyd worth more dead than alive. Interesting way to go about the whole "Black Lives Matter" thing.

I've alluded to that before. It shows how much a Black life matter.

I get the feeling somebody may set me up to get shot by police to get a check.
