I think you're being very generous with your 10 year projection. LGB have been trying to seperate from the T for a while because the T turned on them a few years ago. With the supergay and superlesbian meme catching on fast (but in their case it seems to be the result of many years of fustration) I wouldn't be surprise if there was a huge shift happening next year if not this year (life comes at you fast). That whole LGB alliance being alt right was so stupid I remember when it happened. Also the T forced many to chose between supporting them and the L for some time, and seeing the shit these "trans activists" are pulling i'm firmly supporting Lesbians,

I think many people in general are tired of the trans oppression olympics and the whole shit show is going to explode sooner rather than later.

Oh, I'm of the opinion that the current trans movement is on the verge of going out with a bang, with how so many people are catching wind of these issues. Super Straight, the Equality Act, transwomen in sports, more children being put on puberty blockers, formerly beloved icons like JK Rowling being branded as TERFs for completely milquetoast statements, Jonathan Yaniv being a public spectacle, not to mention all the detransitioners popping up (especially now that we're seeing a lot more detransitioned straight people)... This insanity has gone from being an intra-community LGBTQ+ issue to mainstream.

My worry was mostly that average straight normies are going to lump all this postmodernist queer shit with the LGB people who have nothing to do with this and that's going to cause a new wave of homophobic backlash. I've already seen a few TikTok comments on some Super Straight videos going "how dare the LGBT community do this, they cry about wanting to be accepted but won't accept others sexualities", as if this isn't the trancel's doing? I'm not saying that like, same-sex marriage will be overturned and we'll go back to the Bush era (this is all from an American POV obviously), but it really seemed like the tide had turned in the last decade. It's going to suck ass if a bunch of fetishist LARPers ruin this for everyone else.

SuperStraight feels like an echo of GamerGate. The stars seem to be lining up the same way, where an isolated incident blows up and the establishment narrative controllers are bound by allegiance to enter a conflict with an amorphous mass of Internet-dwellers.

In the case of GG, it turned into a long quagmire that shaped Internet culture, damaged the credibility of the media and gave them all a case of PTSD that they still suffer from. The beginning was like the Archduke Ferdinand assassination leading to WWI and it led to something like a Vietnam for the media. Maybe SS will blow up the same way or maybe it'll just be a flash in the pan, it's too early to tell.
